Beekeeping spring build up bee hive management

Beekeeping in North Centeral West Virginia. It's early spring and I want my bee hives to build up. This isn't a how to on spring build up bee hive management but more of a beekeeping vlog on what I'm currently doing. With the rainig comig this week I added some pollen patties in the bee hives so they can get that continuous pollen feed while being locked inside. I want to stay on top of my bee hive this spring and cause them to build up quick. Doing this management style will hopfully cause the queen to keep laying and not slow down.
I changed the 8 frame bee hive into a 10 frame bee hive. I needed to do maintenance to that hive and didn't have any other 8 frame equpiment so 10 frame is what I used. This also gives a total of 4 added frames to give the bees more room to expand into as they build up. At the end I also added a super. Nothing wrong with adding a super early. Not worried about the queen laying in it. If she does then once the flow starts it'll get back filled with necter which will push her back down.
