Flipper knives rarely open in the pocket, also because there is a detent mechanism which holds the blade in the closed position. Depending on the Knife, you have to press the flipper tab quite strongly in order to deploy the blade. You have to watch out for weak detent, because in that case the blade can get opened easily therefore being a bit dangerous. Cheers
Just got this one and LOVE It.
Oh yea!! Classic one
a great review, subscribed. very well prepared and delivered flawlessly.
Thank you sir! That’s one of my first reviews, I feel I’ve improved a bit in the latest ones. Still have lots to do to get to where I want to be
Hey guys I realized I made a mistake, the clip is actually reversible!
The clip isn’t titanium btw.
Great review, def liked seeing the opening and closing action of the knife.
Thank you 🙏
Nice video Fab! Your review of that Augustus led me to pick up a couple of production Lamberts. This one is tempting me as well...
Hey thank you! Lambert is a brilliant knife maker and a nice person too. I am trying to have one of his custom made for me 🤞
Fablades That would be amazing! Hope you can get on his books!
Can you explain why you would need to take apart the lock bar stabilizer to disassemble the knife?
you don't have to remove the stabilizer to disassemble, just to clean it up
I don’t get the one side carbon fiber and the other side titanium.
Mainly to reduce weight, and keep some strength. You can also get a full ti scale if you prefer
@@Fablades Thanks for replying. Do you know if ZT releases newer versions with some updated improvements ? Like this 2020 batch for example.
Not sure, but I hope we’ll see some news
I'm not a knife owner yet. Is flipper knife dangerous when you carry it in your pocket? it looks like it can open easily.

@@Fablades how is the detent on this knife then?
@@thewindrises this one had a medium detent. Remember that there might be also sample variation, but not so much for production knives
@@FabladesI assume its medium detent is enough for you to feel safe? lol you can probably tell I don't know anything about knives.
No worries man! Yes medium is still safe, when it’s light you might incur into some troubles 😉
