I have the GWG-20001a the red edge one. I did NOT want blueetooth on my mudmaster. And I wanted the four white numeral indices 12,3,6,9 oclock, which makes it extremely legible since I wear glasses. Those 2 factors where the most important for me. So i am glad I bought mine before the bluetooth came out.

I’m shocked and disappointed they have no washers protecting the Ti scale from the bearings. Eventually some deep tracks will wear into the Ti and this won’t help the action

You should write a list with prices, just saying

If your phone has no reception, the BT function is almost pointless.

Both are great. GWG-2000 is slightly bigger look and feel, also bigger LCD. And little bit crackling sound of the strap. GWG-B1000 is more compact, looks very premium build, smaller LCD.

Very nice, I'm sure the custom makes you happy, all you can ask. With my money, I'd still take a Reeve Sebenza 21 Snakewood in Damascus Drop Point as this custom is a bit too gaudy & heavy ( listen to the overall weight as it clunks on the table) for my taste. I'll possibly save a bit of money doing that too, but the crazy thing is.... It'd be far easier to find a custom than the Chris Reeve Snakewood Damascus or even s35vn configuration. On the other hand that flipper action, it's crisp and makes a beautiful sound upon deployment. You can hear it cleanly... then again, Reeve does acoustics better than most with the bank vault lock-up passing the detent & locking up with authority plus the glass smooth washers that come that way out of the box now, with the 2024 & newer Sebenza 31's (definitely not the Umnumzaan's which require heavy break in). I digress, very stunning knife, happy for you. Thanks for the short.

Love them both. Something to be said that 2000 doesn't have BT. Seems to be one more thing that can fail. It also takes a software stack to make those functions work. For a purist, that can be a bit of a turnoff. But I do love the B1000 as well for a lot of the reasons you stated. As luck would have it, I found a 2000 on clearance at a local jeweler. Snapped it up. Eventually the B1000 will be in my stable as well. EIther is a great choice. Only better choice is both 🙂.
