I just finished making this. It was my first time working with phyllo dough and I struggled a tiny bit with it. But it turned out excellent. I added Rosemary as well because I love it. It was the best chicken pie I've ever had. Thank you for this recipe!🤗
I love when you make Greek recipes in English, bcz i can share them with my Greek friends that don't speak Greek but they like greek recipes. One correction though, we don't pronounce the "H" in the word "herbs", just say "erbs".
actually the "h" in "herbs" is pronounced in British English. It's one of those little differences between British and American English. Of course Akis speaks 100% unadulterated Greek-lish, so all bets are off

It looks heavenly. I will definitely make it. However, there is one problem which is to find proper filo. It looks like baklava filo, so I believe/hope that I can use baklava filo because, in Turkey, only baklava filo is that thin and crispy. Others tend to be a little bit thicker.

Happy New Year Akis! This Greek Rustic Chicken Pie of your here is my absolute favorite with all the chicken and veggies inside. It's light The filling inside is great to make calzones, phyllo triangles, etc I prepped them in the phyllo triangles and froze them so I can reheat in my oven to eat them. It's so good and delicious. Stay safe!

There is Bulgarian feta, and French feta at the international markets. Basically they are white cheeses, they shouldn't sell them as "feta". Greece has sold so many rights of names of origin to the point that people don't know if the product they buy is Greek or French etc. I know they've sold the "Moscato " name of wine. We found california Moscato here in the US. Crazy.
Hi Akis! It's pass December but have you tried your own version of Pecan pie and Food for THE gods? Just a suggestion. Have grown up with those recipes. Good memories.
