Its a shame they are so small. That's what I'm debating now with myself in regards to the tank. It needs more bulk.

Does sound alot better with the rejet ,I think I would try spraying some carb cleaner at the intakes

Dosnt need it. This vid is from a few days ago. Another tank clean, another carb clean and some straight pipes later abd it's running beautifully lol

That virago sounds like me after a night of Stella 😂 one thing is for sure you will give it your all. I know it’s the best way but I would have given up I think, you very rarely call it a day.

Depending on what virago it is David I know what you mean. They are complex bikes in some ways with 2 fuel tanks and side mounted carbs.
But funny enough both are running well currently a good 8 months later

Hi Steve, yes I cleaned them all. I didn't on Sultans as I didn't know they existed lol. But I did mine fully as it desperately needed it.

How long has it been sitting Charlie? Ethanol has been the death of many carbs 😞 lol 👍Cheers Charlie

I'm not sure really, my guess is at least 2 years because of the pandemic.

Any tips for syncing/ tuning these carbs? Thanks

Hi Dawson. What bike mate? Virago?
They are weird carbs as they sit and function on their sides. The first and main thing they need evert few years is a good carb clean. Then you can use a balancer to check the balance if needed.
I also up jetted mine by around 5. So 5 up on both mains..
      Hope this helps a little
