Great ranking. Trayvax element was my first foray into EDC wallets and still love mine. However, since you recommended the contour, maybe 2 years ago now, I have carried it since and cant put it down, has been my main wallet since then. I in fact sold my original contour over Christmas and switched to the Titanium one. No other wallet has appealed to me as much since moving away from my traditional bifold I used prior to EDC wallets. I also prefer the attachment point compared to the unholy versions they have now, gives the contour more character and I have an airtag and our elevator fob for our building hanging off of the attachment point. I have no other physical keys, and without that attachment point, I'd have to carry the elevator key fob separately and would have to forget about the airtag. Also interestingly, I bought a venture for my dad, and he’s someone who always disliked my EDC wallets. He loves the Venture and is the closet thing to an EDC wallet he’ll use given he still likes the bifold nature of the wallet. But I do agree with your rankings either way given my presence for smaller yet functional wallets. Great video!
Unholy w/bottle opener is my first Trayvax product. Actually, it is the first time I've ever not used a tri-fold. It is an incredible change. Black or rose gold were the only options when I purchased it. The black leather certainly looks nice...but it would have been nice to have the Mississippi Mud or gray leather options available.
Great video! Thanks for the review. This is a great review. The Axis was discontinued cause it sold so poorly. But those who have it seem to be very passionate about it. What would you like to see next!?
I stretch mine by getting it weat and letting it dry with the card number you want to carry. I think I got to 7 cards, upgrade to Contour, plenty of space now. @@ChrispyThings
Great video chrispy. From trayvax y tried the og 2.0, armored summit, contour and ascent. I currently rotate ascent and contour and, although I love the flexibility of the contour I am absolutely obsessed with the design of the ascent. Its just a solid wallet. I installed a money clip on the back in the cut designed for the cash and now I carry the cash folded in half and 9 non embossed cards in total. If only trayvax could make the ascent with the cash compartment of the element (maybe closed on the front like the d'avella wallet) that would be absolutely gorgeous!
@@ChrispyThings Never lose hope! I am currently starting learning leather craft because I'm never satisfied with what I buy. I just came to the conclusion that I have to make it myself 😂
still have two Axis wallets that I bought 10+ years ago. my son appropriated one a few years back and the other has been my daily carry since I got it. just ordered the Contour....we'll see how she stacks up
I started with the Element and lost it, so replaced it with the Contour. Although I love the Contour, I kind of preferred the Element. I also bought my boys each an Ascent and am always a bit jealous when I see them. I just love their styling.
I might have to agree on your number one and two for the same reasons but i liked the venture as far as functionality goes I'd put it number one just because im a cash guy.
I honestly don’t know why you don’t get more views. It makes zero sense to me. You have to be shadow banned or something. Your videos check all the boxes for this space: frequency, good content, quality production, I seriously don’t understand yt algorithms
I’ve been saying this for years now. I have no idea what’s going on but someone at YT doesn’t like me. Not sure why, I don’t even swear in my videos. lol
I went front pocket carry waaay back about the time I hit 40 and discovered carrying in the back pocket was killing my back. started going metal/low profile in order to make front pocked carry easier. love Trayvax products, and of course there are other options out there too.
I've carried my element in my front pocket or back pocket for years now. Although the footprint is much smaller than my old tri-fold, it is metal and when I sit in the car I often pull it out of my back pocket because it can be uncomfortable. I use a lanyard attached to my belt so I just throw it wherever it's more convenient. When sitting usually in the front pocket when walking, often in the back pocket.
Trayvax kinda fucked over a buddy of mine who worked for them. I got a free sample, the Element, which is okay but the leather strap kinda messed up my cards. 7/10. Plus the logo is kinda big and uninspired.
Been carrying the accent for a few years now with no complaints. DL and CCW in the front slot and my dedicated 4-5 cards in the back..all I need.

The Contour is hard to beat
Bought the unholy contour with the bottle opener and haven’t even looked at another wallet since. Great choice.
Great video and I 100% agree with the rankings. I have all of these too and would have put them in the same order.
Exactly how I would've ranked them! I carry a Contour and have for the past 4 years. I saw the "unholy" and I'm tempted.
Same. I just don’t know if I should go with the version with or without the bottle opener
@@ChrispyThingsprobably wouldn’t miss it till you needed a bottle opener 🤣
Any chance of getting a review of the Scudo USA SC7 (or SC10) wallet? Keep up the good work.

You can buy the strap separate and swap it out for whatever color you want.
Ive been using the contour for over 3 years. I love it. I use the attachment for my key fob. wouldnt change anything about the contour.

Different color option for the ascent. Maybe the rose gold. I love the ascent best wallet I've ever owned!
I have a Black Ascent and i love it. I carry 8 cards and 5 bills in it...
8 cards? Impressive. How long did it take you to stretch out those pockets?
I stretch mine by getting it weat and letting it dry with the card number you want to carry. I think I got to 7 cards, upgrade to Contour, plenty of space now. @@ChrispyThings
not long. i keep 2 cards in the front pocket and 5 in the tab pocket. my mistake.. i hold 7 cards not 8

I wish Trayvax would start updating some of these old designs as they did with the Contour. I’d love to see an updated Ascent or Element

Got the Countour wallet. The last wallet I'll ever need. Well worth the money.
Have a few Trayvax wallets, and the contour is by far my fave.

I finally upgraded my Armor Summit to M1 Maverick…. And I miss the 7/8 card options
I love my Contour but I wish I could have gotten my hands on an Axis when it was available.
Yep. Cant believe they discontinued it
@ChrispyThings same. Very disappointed. I loved your video for it and it just looked like a great wallet, very slim and not as bulky as the Contour.
I might have to agree on your number one and two for the same reasons but i liked the venture as far as functionality goes I'd put it number one just because im a cash guy.
Thanks for the feedback.
Justice for the venture
🤣

Are any of these wallets comfortable in a back pocket? Where do people carry these metal fram wallets?
Not at all. Almost all metal wallets are for the front pocket

if you can own just 1 wallet. what would that be?
I bought the unholy contour, I absolutely love it
Axis was my first and favorite but I lost it😢😢😢😢😢 but still love my contour
I was disappointed to find out it’s discontinued
Save your money. Original 2.0 is the best 😊

I have the Venture and I hate it, lol. Total regret.

There are new people running the company now so I’m really curious to see what they do with the brand
@@ChrispyThings oh really? Interesting, I haven't always been the biggest fan of the style but the quality was definitely there. I guess we'll see
