@@Trumpwonbiigily depreciation in the car world is correlated with reliability. The less the car depreciates, the more reliable it is. The more it depreciates, the less reliable the car is.
Edit: Let be real, a car that is harder to work on with more expensive scan tools, and the car breaks more often is a recipe for a faster and more dramatic depreciation.

The host speaks very well. Great review. To be honest I don't think boot space is an issue here for the lifestyle of the people who will be driven around in this. For example a business exec with a briefcase. Or if they're getting going to the airport they'll probably have a light suitcase for their business trip to Tokyo. It's not really a family car if you know what I mean right?

It sure is not a personal car either, for those you choose the GORGEOUS, ELEGANT COUPE version of the S class. The trunk is plenty big for a couple whose kids have left the house, but maybe not for a big growing family who cannot afford it anyway. That is why ALWAYS the trunks of true family luxury cars, like the E class or the 5 series or the A6, are actually EVEN BIGGER than the big trunks of the S class, the 7 series and the A8

The ride quality is considerably better on a rear wheel drive with Magic Body Control than with the 4Matic version. I'll take Magic Body Control and forgo all wheel drive any day in any warm weather climate. My only two complaints about the W222 S-class are 1) the small trunk size 2) lack of a spare tire and choice of MB to use run-flats. Even with run-flats, there needs to be the option to carry a compact spare. No other complaints at all!

the thing i don't understand ( and i am trying to ) is the command touch pad. one min it's a touch pad controller and the next it's a phone. in this video at 2:56 he pulls the cover back and it's a phone. what happen to it being a touch pad that u can write ( like the Audi's ) things just by moving you're hand on it?

As an owner of two PERFECTLY reliable and perfect overall E class diesels, a 2007 and a 2008, since 2016 and 2017, I can assure you Mercs are truly GREAT CARS. ANd I have owned "mAgnificent 7" series, a beautiful 740iL, and bought all three for less than $11k. WORSHIP the goddess of depreciation! It allows poor schmucks like the Reviewer to also enjoy a Merc to the fullest, and not have to curse his luck in a damned Mazda.

  • @redmafia1387

People in the comments keep talking about depreciation 😂 it’s a 9 year old car.. what did you expect? To make a profit? When you get tired of it just trade it for something else. Find a decent 1 owner car that been taken care of and the whole maintenance thing is a myth. Go on FCP euro, and do the work yourself. Just like any other car. I own a 2015 s550 4matic and it costs just as much as my used 2018 Toyota Camry xse.
