I think a lot of people i've seen reacting somehow forgets that probably more than six months have passed, and it's not like Cailtyn had her fight with Vi and the next day she was with Maddie. I don't like that relationship either, but to be fair to Maddie she is kind of trying to give some emotional support to Cait.
They calling Vander"Hound of the Underground" in Episode 1 season 1 ( minute 22 if u curious😅) was a good hint..in episode 3 with all that happened this Phrase "You were there" Warwick says it to Jinx...Also, "Who taught you how to punch?" Warwick to VI in game phrases...in the Announcement video for season 2 they added the howl he does with 1 of his skills in game at the end. So, it was not a surprised for those who know a bit of lore from the champions.I was waiting to see ur reaction to that reveal😅. I gotta say tey did it awesome with that Lore part, cause technically what we knew bout Warwick before Arcane was not clear who it was.. we only knew he once was a man with a brutal past, who ended up as the Beast we know by the hand of a twisted scientist, the story also says his mind has fragmented memories of his former life..he struggles between his animalistic rage and the fleeting memories of the man he once was.
Yeah we actually talked about the Vander/Warick theories a few days ago so we went into this thinking it could be him! Also, those are cool voice lines from the game, idt I ever noticed them
I gotta say, this episode was a little bit of a relief for me, because I was expecting Cait to be SO much worse than what we got. Yes, she is super in the wrong and should stop oppressing the lower classes, duh, but she has at least been trying to avoid using violence and unlawful arrests and whatnot and has even outlawed certain forms of punishment for criminals that the city has happily used in the past. And she is obviously very aware that even then, they're still going too far and wants this occupation to just end already... she just can't let it go until Jinx is caught Edit: also, just to clarify, there are no internment camps. That fenced in thing we were seeing was a street checkpoint where anyone who wanted to pass from one district of the city to another was stopped and checked presumably for weapons or signs of allegiance to Jinx and maybe some kind of ID or proof that they have legitimate business wherever they're going, etc
Yeah same! I thought Caitlyn would be a LOT more ruthless, but looks like Vi has helped her understand the undercity’s treatment a bit more Thanks for the callout on the checkpoint!!
28:07 😂 in what world does that look like vander to you bro, just say you looked it up before watching the episode but dont pretend like yk based on its appearance
So for context, I’ve known about the Vander/Warwick theory for some time now and talked about it with Ashley off camera. We never really talked about it in our discussions prior to this scene so I get that it may look like I’m randomly guessing it’s Vander, but I went into this almost expecting it to be him

True! Ashley pointed out to me that some time has probably passed and that makes sense
