Beautiful accent wall, as always great tips for homeowners considering these kind of projects, couldn’t agree any more on materials, anything that is going to have paint as a final finish should be the best quality you can afford to save labor and end up with a more professional project. The only thing I would recommend is to shut off the circuit breaker to the receptacle before installing a receptacle standoff or extender ring, sometimes the wiring is subpar for whatever reason, and you can get shocked. Your attention to the finish details takes this project out of the homeowner realm and into the professional realm, I think 🤔 you may have been a little bit light on the number if you hired it out. Beautiful and fun project!
I love the stained mid board. Great job! I can appreciate your improvisation with counter sinking the screws. I think we were probably doing our board and batten projects around the same time. I just put out my video last week. You should check it out. I would really like to hear what you think. LOVE THE CHANNEL!!!
Too funny, guess we had the same idea. Your video is great, thanks for the heads up on it. Somewhere down the road I want to do something like that in the hallway so I'll have to go rewatch your video when I do. Happy building 😊
@@AroundtheHouse Thanks for watching it! When you decide to do the wall in your hallway, check out my skim coating video. Its great for getting a smooth wall if you decide to go that route. Of course you can also just put up siding, but my wall came out so smooth and it was really fun to know I could do it.
WOW! That looks fantastic! Really appreciate your step by step approach with helpful tips along the way! Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
Absolutely phenomenal job! It looks downright AMAZING!!
Thank you so much! 😊
Awesome job!
Thank you
Omg I love it!!!!! Gorgeous
Thanks so much Bethann 😊
Excellent video. I like that you show and explain those minor hiccups. And of course the wall looks great!
Odličan video. Hvalaa!
Nema na čemu. Hvala vam što ste gledali.
Good 👍 work
Thank you so much 😀

Thanks for the comments Brad and for the helpful tips. Always nice having comments from other experienced woodworkers. 😊
So Lowe’s has a bit set for like 10$ that will make the recess really nice worth the money
Thanks Wade, I'll check that out. 😊
