Buy me a Coffee? www.buymeacoff... In this episode of BBB I explain the method behind and create a Steppas tune. Stompin 4x4 Dub Reggae, designed for the soundsystem.
@@BoshDubs my pleasure, great video to get started with this. Been listening to steppas etc. for nearly two decades now, just starting to have a crack at making some
Das hilfr auf jeden Fall weil man dann wenn man eine Struktur für die bearbeitung drin hat. Genau weiß was man haben will. Einen track werde ich damit nie machen weil ich nur da am stöbern bin 😂😂
Yeah I don't mind sharing it. Hmu on IG or something @dj_bosh I will say though it's only 9 MIDI tracks with 2 of them grouped together for the bass channel. Thanks for watching!
I've considered making some kind of sample pack but for these tutorials I used all Ableton built in samples anyway so you should have everything you need already
@28:25 what exactly are you doing? It seems you are changing the bongo pattern live but then you are in Sampler not in the midi piano roll. Sounded awesome at that time 2825 by the way. Thank you
Thanks for watching! Those lines you can see on Simpler correspond to keyboard notes. If you remove one of the lines it shifts the samples. It seems like I'm adjusting the loop live because I'm removing the lines as the loop plays. I hope that makes sense. Let me know if not 😊
So there's a few ways you could do this. You could record arm every track then just record your dubbing and mix it down as an mp3. You could also insert a new Audio track and set the input as Master. When you record on that track it will record direct from the master channel.
Thanks!!!! Blessings From Colombia!!
Thank you too!

Hey! Some free sound packs for trying this?

@@BoshDubs Thank you for your answer. It makes sense and it is a great albeit random way to come up with new patterns :)
what is the name of the program?
Ableton Live 11
Hello Bosh, am mixing dub too, but i´ve got question for you. Could you please tell me, how could I record live dub and export it to mp3?

Can you do more tutorial about steppas dub pleasee
I'm trying but I'm having real problems with my stream recording setup and the audio settings ATM. I want to make more videos so much!
I've fixed my problems, new steppas video in the next day or 2
