delta squad best squad oorah also, tips for anyone watching this and wanting to learn how to play RMC: - dont be afraid to ask for help! most people will be more than happy to help you out - the server is MRP. what this means in practice is that you should follow the chain of command and dont talk out of character stuff in character - STICK WITH YOUR SQUAD. STICK WITH YOUR SQUAD. STICK WITH YOUR SQUAD. a lone marine is a dead marine. if you somehow get seperated from your squad, you have a tracker that points to your squad leader. - watch for friendly fire. make sure there is no one in front of you or in you. you WILL shoot them unless your gun says "You will shoot past friendlies!" when you examine it. - start as a rifleman and learn in that role. as a rifleman, you have no responibilities besides shooting bad guy. - if you're new, the M54 assault rifle is a good weapon to start with. its the basic bitch gun and ammo should be plentiful - fire in bursts! you're more accurate when you dont full auto
Some clarification on life pod and lifeboat behavior: - you can launch both at any point above 25% fuel - you need 100% fuel to not crash on the planet, any less and you are gambling if you crash or not (you might still launch successfully!) - in the life pods, you need three or less people to not crash on the planet, any more and you are gambling if you crash or not (Odds are pretty bad for this one as far as I am aware) BONUS FACT: the corporate liaison (CL) has a special life pod in their office that does not need fuel to launch successfully! you still can't exceed the occupancy rating without gambling. BONUS BONUS FACT: A command member has to authorize evacuation or none of the pods or boats work (sometimes they forget and everyone dies! yippee!)
6:18 -Calls wrong phone -Upset when nobody picks up CIC reception is a room outside the command area nobody uses, Combat Information Center is the XO or CO, and (squad) overwatch are the people on the computers actually watching you and relaying orders.
As someone who has the gold medal in the Marine role in SS13 (means I've got more than 60 hours in one role), I have to let everyone know that this is a great gamemode which does have a somewhat challenging difficulty curve but is extremely rewarding once you know what you're doing. and REMEBER TO ASK FOR HELP IF YOU'RE NEW, IT WILL REALLY HELP YOU AND THERE WILL ALMOST ALWAYS BE SOMEONE WILLING TO TEACH YOU HOW TO PLAY
Oh by the way I noticed you were using E-T injects as a corpsman, you should use M-M or M-L injectors since they’re just a better version that medical staff can use!
Unfortunately that's probably not gonna be In SS14 for a while, since in SS13 it exits but is very rare (usually a fight between the main playable faction versus commies or corpos)
@@Kyuschi Yeah, but as with most of the weirder ports on SS13, it'll take a while to recreate on SS14, but if a community exists, a server will eventually come around.
