Andrew Neil the only one talking facts about Gaza & IDF. People all over the world are demonstrating supporting Palestinians. Countries are in support of Israel’s right to defend itself. All this is irrelevant because Israel said what they were going to do when Hamas brutally attacked their people. That’s when hope went. It’s just like if a country attacked the USA (to which I wouldn’t recommend) the UK which is one of its closest allies would have no influence.
This is where the you are wrong and the lack of education is clear. Prior to that event Palestine has been under a BRUTAL occupation for over 70 years. It's essentially a concentration camp where Israel is ethnically cleansing them from their land. Also look at who created and funded Hamas in the first place......Israel. FYI - I have done humanitarian work in Palestine for over 7yrs so I know exactly what I'm talking about.
According to international law, lsra3l does not even have the right to defend itself. So everything they did in retaliation are ALL considered war crime. Retaliation on their OCCUPIED territory, bombing hospitals, schools, refugee camps. Murdering children, women, the elderly. Commiting inhumane genocide against innocent civillians. Why is lsra3l not being condemned, why is netanyahu not being condemned. IDF is obviously a t3rr0r1st org. The UN's official definition of a t3rr0r1sm is: "criminal acts, including against civilians, committed with intent to cause death or serious bodily injury, or taking of hostages, with the purpose to provoke a state of terror in the general public or in a group of persons or particular persons," IDF fits the description.

I believe only 40% of the population back in 2006 voted for Hamas. That was 17 years ago. Considering 45% of Palestine's population are under 18, that means they were less than a year old when Hamas were voted in. So, no, the current Palestine did not vote for Hamas.

Andrew Neil objective? Hardly. Just another right wing friend of capital. Criticising the incompetent, misanthropic and mammon loving Government and the equally inept opposition is like fishing in a barrel. Good to see that roadkill marking is still doing its job too.
I assumethat is a joke? Neil and his ilk have, almost without exception, backed every nonsensical, crackpot economic experiment the free market right have tried on since Thatcher, selling off UK assets, privatisations, shifts of wealth from the working people to the rich etc...the very policies that have run the country into the ground. his old boy nonsense here is ridiculous..lets things play out he says....if only he were there on the receiving end of 'things playing out." he might well change his tune and start thinking.

Andrew saying Palestinians want to kill Israelis only because they are Jews.. and that Palestinians voted in Hamas (in 2006, over 50% the population are under 18) and would vote them in in the West Bank now - is he so ignorant or is he choosing to ignore the fact that probably well over half the population of Gaza have had close family members or friends killed by the IDF. Is he choosing to ignore the land grabs by the settlers in the West Bank? In some cases people literally having their houses stolen by settlers. Of course he is choosing to ignore these issues because surely one with his career could not be so ignorant.
The absurdity of the host to act surprised when an audience member suggests the IDF, who have killed 15,000 civilians inc 6,000+ children (or as bbc would say people under 18), bombed hospitals, been filmed driving tanks dragging wounded/dead bodies up the road etc etc might call the IDF terrorists. The unoriginal catchphrase of "Israel has the right to defend itself" (Do they teach this at Day 1 of Politician school?) just does not cut it. The media have lost so much credibility since the pandemic and are losing more every time they move their lips in front of a camera these days. Thank god for the rise of independent media.

Idealistic but no way in touch with reality. If you want to replace an ideology the way she says she wants to, then you have to remove the root of the old one first. Israel is doing that. Just remember lst war 60000 were kill in one day
Andrew Neil the only one talking facts about Gaza & IDF.
Israel shouldve known what their actions of ethnic cleaning in Gaza wouldve done in the long term for not just Israelis but for Jews around the world
According to international law, lsra3l does not even have the right to defend itself. The UN's official definition of a t3rr0r1sm is: "criminal acts, including against civilians, committed with intent to cause death or serious bodily injury, or taking of hostages, with the purpose to provoke a state of terror in the general public or in a group of persons or particular persons,"
IDF fits the description.
@@nochi4699 To put it bluntly it’s a bloody mess my heart is breaking especially for children. If you feel the Israelis out to ethnically cleanse then Hamas has played into their hands. It’s a totally hopeless situation.
@@nochi4699what on earth are you on about, ethnic cleansing? The population in Gaza had grown exponentially since the 40s. Israel left Gaza, in fact they ethnically cleansed themselves oug of the equation!

42:56. Surely The right of self-defense belongs to the Palestinians who have been usurped, subjected to endless cycles of massacres, brutality, degradation, ethnic cleansings on a regular basis, etc, since the past 70+ years by a settler colonial state - the term agreed - by Theodor Hertzl and other past Zionists, masterminded by Britain - Churchill's pet colonial project because he believed in the right of the superior race to supplant that of an inferior one or rule over. He viewed Arabs as inferior and the "Aryans will prevail". He mean't the English.
They say Arabs are inferior but in truth I think they feared that they are superior. We are equal and that's what Arabs believe. Did you know Muslims are taught that everyone is born Muslim, they just don't recognise it. They believe we are all brothers and sisters, nobody is superior.
Ahhh the perrenial victim narrative. As if everything was done to them and they had no responsibility for the situation they're in today. The poor, helpless people that initiated 2 intafadas against their neighbours then whined and complained about the security measures put in place to contain them. The poor, helpless people that condition their children to hate Jews and to propagate violence. Stop peddling lies.

In 1947 a theocratic state was formed by the English and anyone who was not of that religion was killed and dispossessed of their land. Over one million murders because someone had a different religion. I don't hear anyone condemning Pakistan, I wonder why?
@@registeredmental many countries were created from scratch or had their borders redrawn in the wake of WWII, each time leading to mass displacement of people and lots of death. These things happened in contemporaniety with the formation of Israel, and the movement of between 540000 and 700000 Palestinians was small, comparatively, and the number of deaths compared to what happened during these other displacements was minute. Why, then, is it Israel that has its legitimacy challenged, denied its right to defend itself (either implicitly or explicitly) and is held accountable for an "ethnic cleansing" that it didn't even perpetrate?

Didn't the Palestinians vote for Hamas?
I believe only 40% of the population back in 2006 voted for Hamas. That was 17 years ago. Considering 45% of Palestine's population are under 18, that means they were less than a year old when Hamas were voted in. So, no, the current Palestine did not vote for Hamas.
But recent polling showed 75% of the population strongly in favour of them. However, it's hard to say how much fear and coercion was involved in that.
@@Supercapraia I'm not sure. From what I've read: "We find in our surveys that 67 percent of Palestinians in Gaza had little or no trust in Hamas in that period right before the attacks," said Amaney Jamal, dean of Princeton's School of Public and International Affairs. It might have increased slightly for those who are in anguish over losing loved ones. But equally they might be resentful at Hamas for putting their loved ones in such a position.
And the Israelis voted for Netenyahou.
