Spanish PINK Lightning! | Storm Chasers

Enjoying a fabulous Spanish holiday when in a 24hr period we encountered about three separate lighting storms with one having pink lightning!
One of the strangest colours reported are instances of pink or green lightning seen mainly during snowstorms known as ”thundersnow”, is rare. Unlike caused as snowflakes refract and reflect the white bolt in a unique way this one maybe due to the dry hot air.

My Nan told me once about pink lightning and she explained it how she saw it and had no thunder. Which was pretty bazaar. Hopefully we could get thunderstorms when the heatwaves does end.

There’s a heatwave in the uk on Sunday Monday and Tuesday up to 38 degrees and then at the night there will be a huge thunderstorm it will be so warm

Nice time lapse. I think the only way to see a storm these days is to go abroad. Not a good year so far in the UK.

I’ll explain in a video soon - practice and use ‘bulb’ setting on a DSLR type camera 📷 at night. Day time is far harder.
