This is a disgusting way to make a living. Giant trawlers dragging huge nets through the ocean killing dolphins, turtles, baby seals and anything else that gets snagged in the nets.

I agree that many large scale trawling operations are likely unstable, but what about the crew that depend on it to feed their families? Some communities even exist just because of fishing weather you like it or not.
