Casper Ruud is a modern player with a 90's technique. His wrist is not loose as Berettini or Federer for example, and he use a lot of heavy top spin even like that. Incredible. I'm a big fan of this guy. Thank you for the court level video !
@@RVDS1996 I was referrring to his wrist pressure principally, tight in comparison with some players like Dimitrov, Auger Alliassime for example (typically a modern technique). Look at his forehand closely. Ruud is a mix of both world.
Ruud's two-handed backhand is a thing of beauty with excellent timing and technique. 5 titles in one season is REALLY good stuff. He should move up one spot after today's title win.
Me down at my local tennis club: 'hey I'm playing ok today, I could probably give the pros a game'. Me after watching courtside videos of pros playing: 'yeah, wouldn't win a point tbh'.
During the first no bweh part I was thinking well that doesn't look so hard then in the bweh and bweeeh parts they increased the pace and added more angles and they still kept the same form/consistency so I just shut the fuck up
Obviously you don't know what your talking about. There's nothing wrong with his technique its obviously good enough to get him into the top five of the world.
The top two seeds practicing for this tournament. Both are great players in the making but I think Ruud will eventually turn out to be the better of the two. It helps that he win this tournament today and doing it in style with a love and 2 score line over Norrie of Great Britain.
The names for the time stamps are gold.
I applaud you.

Так его отец обучал, а он сам родом из 90-х. Вообще техника у него хорошая. Да и теннисист он тоже отличный. Успехов ему в карьере.
Константин Бибуков Sorry I don’t understand russian my friend
his grip is pretty western tho
90's technique? I like Ruud aswell but would say he has a pretty modern technique lol

Great vid. Nice contrast between the two with Rudd’s spin and Rublev blasting every shot as hard as he can.
Ruud's ball striking has improved these days. Seemed to be catching it more thin in this video
You can understand that Rublev is fully ready for the high tempo after "bweeeh"s
"Anatomy of a grunt" 🤣🤣
Bweeehhh = Andrey
Aahhuumm = Casper !!
Wow! I like Casper's slow motion forehand !! Technique is 👌.
I couldn't stop laughing at the time stamps
Great footage as always!
You get a like for the chapter titles
no bweh
Ruud remind’s me of Nadal if he were right handed. Love the fluidity of his game.
Totally agree. Both sides are very similar to Rafa. Makes sense I guess as he has been training at the Nadal Academy for years now.

not even close lol
@5:08 oh, cameras on me now. better up my "Bweh"
I don’t see it. He’s so rigid and mechanical in motion towards the ball.

Nice to see these guys play! I believe these will play in the final 👍
Ruud's forehand > rublev's forehand

Ruud looks way more athletic then on TV
His shorts are on the tighter side.
No bweh. Lol🤣
ruud has such great foot work. No wonder rublev's ball is so flat, he uses western grip.
Western grip normally means heavy spin, not flat
@@JonicSc2Strategy If you close your racquet more the ball will be flatter.
Rublev racket change?
Not a racquet change. Just a new paint job for the Laver Cup, but he’s still using it
Rudd RIDICULOUS 🤡
Where in SD is this tournament at?
Barnes Tennis Center
Any interest in partnering? I love to use some of your footage for video analysis. Keep up the good work! John
is Ruud playing bad on purpose so that Rublev doesn't get a good hit out today ?

Are tennis players wearing normal sneakers? I guess they are wearing tennis socks:)
In what age will rublev develop a proper backhand?
What is wrong with his backhand?
Obviously you don't know what your talking about.

1dislayk wer ar you
Anybody knows which racket he's using?
Ruud: Yonex Ezone 100
Rublev: Head Gravity Pro with the special Laver Cup livery
He still uses the DR version painted over and an extended length
Yonex Ezone 100 extend with YonexPoly Tour Spin on mains and Yonex Poly Tour Pro on crosses
@@teddymikefunk thanks
First segment labeled "no bweh". Nuff said. Subscribed 🤣🤣
Lol ! I was like "anatomy of a grunt" Bweehh = Andrey ; Aahhuumm = Casper !! 🤣🤣
Love the dividers by bweh
BWEEEEEH!
BWEEEEEH!!
Does anyone know which grip is Ruud using on his forehand?
Semi western
@@Mewborne89 thanks man
Full western
@@Scourgie its Full western not semi
I saw on a video of Top Tennis Training that he's between a semi-western and western.

Rublev BETTER hitter , Ruud forehand sooo loopy too high
Well ok then
Flat v spin… Ruud’s consistency speaks louder than your comment.
