I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE “THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY”!! I finished Season Two & wanted to cry because Season 3 isn’t coming out until 2021!! I WILL NOT ruin the Finale for you! ITS SO FLIPPING GOOD!! I absolutely LOVE Your channel!! Your channel is my Umbrella Academy equivalent in Card Making! Love your beautiful rainbow heart card! I can’t sew a lick but I may have to try that one! God Bless & the Love of Christ to you & yours!!
Heyyy! You made a card where you "just stopped there" - no sequins or gems! I have been waiting for the day! Love these cards, I like the triple-hobby-enjoyment (cross stitch, cardmaking, and snail mail), and I like the simplicity.
they do but I only use those for glitter b/c glitter won't sweep up well when it gets everywhere lol - the little paper bits easily sweep off into the garbage and I'm good to go
Oh darn, Amy, there goes my budgeting on new things to use on slimline cards! You really do have a marvelous eye! We just started watching the Umbrella Academy last night. We really like it too.
TONS of videos online - it's pretty simple for the basics - then you can learn all sorts of different stitches and whatnot. Practicing on card stock like this is actually easiest - I wish I'd had this when I first learned as I struggled with the fabric and stitches and whatnot (tho that was a good 25 years ago lol)
Great cards. I used to love cross stiching. Was really into for a little while. I love the way you did the hearts and the borders on the other card, very cool. I wish I could color or cross stitch while watching TV, but I cant split my focus. I can multitask just not tv and crafting at the same time.
Love these cards! These dies are pretty cool. I love to cross stitch but haven’t done it for several years. I have soooooo much Aida cloth in all different counts, 14 being my favorite. I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. I also have some white and silver sheets of cross stitch paper from many moons ago. I don’t even know if they make it anymore. I have that big roll of score tape too. I have had it along time. Comes in handy sometimes.
Very cute Amy. Back in the day, I was a cross-stitch fend. I had X-stitch pictures on my wall, rugs on my floor, made Mother's Day gift of X-stitch table clothe and napkins for my mom. Now I don't have the patience to do it.
Counted cross stitch is definately a love that I've had for years and shated with my mom. Love these cards so much!! Remember toiling for weeks cross stitching a picture for a gift, this will beperfect! Love it and must get that piercing panel!!!!
OK, where was I when these came out?? lol I am loving this series of stitchable dies! I've got a box full of embroidery floss, (don't think they go bad :0) and will have to invest in some of these adorable dies! Thank you for the inspiration!
This is a great release! I love when 2 of my favorite hobbies come together! I've been a cross stitcher for years, so I'm enjoying using it on my card making!
Wow, Amy, really FANtastic cards! I'm with you with respect to using the DMC Floss in its original form when stitching on cardstock and I also totally agree that it looks much better. TFS and I hope you and the kids are staying safe and healthy (fellow Canuck here).
I love these and debated yesterday about whether I really needed them. Your video put my over the edge. It was hard for me to get a feel of how big some of the borders were, etc. Your cards are beautiful. I have enjoyed using the MFT cross stitch dies but definitely am going to order the back panel that helps the dots fall out. I was going to tell you that instead of taping my thread when I start and end I thread it though the back. On the "beginning" I just hold it on the line and my stitching naturally wraps around it. If you get a row with at least 3 x stitches it will hold. Then at the end I just use my needle to go under about 4-5 stitches and then cut. I'm not sure if that makes sense or not. Anyhow, your way certainly works I was just going to give the suggestion to save on score tape :) Beautiful cards and now I'm visiting your link to WF because after the video now I NEED them.
I've always loved cross stitching as well! This is great being able to continue the stitching fun into card making as well! TFS! Love your videos and always looking forward to the next one!
Awesome cards! Those dies are great - a few years ago when I saw some of the small ones come out, I thought about it but never got any. These are a definite, especially the one that helps clean out the die cuts - so clever!
Love the cards! I've been a big fan of stitching since the "beginning". I also want to say my fiance & I always enjoy watching your videos. I made a sympathy slimline card with Beautiful Flowers, stamped the inside as well. First thing I thought was this is an Amy R card without the splatter or bling. 🤣I'm going to mass produce these as they're easier to do when not needed. Sorry for writing a book!
Amy, this release makes me very happy, I have been cross stitching for over 30 years. I alway loved the cards, that your subscriber sent but just didn’t try it. Not sure what is in their pattern sets, but I hope there are a few Christmas designs, for the Stitchable Beanie & Sweater. I can’t wait to order these, not sure if I am ready to commit $20 for the Piercing Panel die😀. Love your colorful cards and the great hints for adding them to card bases.🌈
Great cards! I love to cross stitch but I haven't gotten into it on cards YET. And we JUST finished the 2nd season of The Umbrella Academy...love it! Even got my brother hooked & he hadn't watched the 1st season.
don't see why it wouldn't - once I actually get some free time I want to die cut a bunch of panels with a larger cross stitch die I already have and will use the WF piercing panel to remove all the little bits from them :D
Oh to cute but I'm to lazy for all that cross stitching. Oh but I love watching 👀you do it. Lol. It is very nice maybe come deep winter here in Michigan I'll try it.
I cannot multi task when watching Umbrella Academy. It is too enthralling. These cards are beautiful and unique
haha true - tho mindless stitching I can do - anything requiring more concentration no ;)

That's really cute! I couldn't do those, too impatient

Wow, love it
I love the ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Loved the video and already purchased the heart die! May I ask - what size is the dessert card stock that you used the die on? Thanks a million.
Love it 😍 now how much would you sell this cards how much time you put in it !
I don't sell my cards so I'm no help
Prairie Paper & Ink (AmyR) they are beautiful !!
So will the paper piercing die remove the holes from any stitching dies (from other companies)? It takes so long!!
don't see why it wouldn't - once I actually get some free time I want to die cut a bunch of panels with a larger cross stitch die I already have and will use the WF piercing panel to remove all the little bits from them :D
That is amazingggg

These are so adorable! I don’t think my old eyes 😂 could cross stitch anymore, even with my progressive bifocals! ❤️😘✌️🌈
Sew cute!
Wow
