I have loved this song since I heard Farya Faraji sing it in French and English. But to hear it in the original language, one native to the land this song is from while still being completely Christian, and sung beautifully on top, almost brought a tear to my eye. On the way the language sounds, it vaguely reminds me of Breton. Both are non-Romance but with a slight French tint to them, and they both have a lot of labiovelar plosives.
