17th Jan 1746. Will be ower Tamfourhill, Greenbank road next weekend to remember "those jacobite men," and visit Charlies Stones at Lochgreen road after our visit to the cairnstone commemoration. "Prosperity to Scotland, and no union."
@@balladsofhistory I am not trying to pressure you i just wanted you to be aware of the lyrics. Just so that they would serve you in case you wanted to do a English translation of it. Since if i myself didn't had the help of a Gaelic speaker i would have been unable to translate it since Capercaillie hasn't posted the lyrics to their new album on ther website and the only avalaible lyrics of the song online only contain 4 verses of 5 verses plus the repeated first verse of the new version. There is also the full original eleven verses avalaible online, but they aren't arranged in same order has sung in capercaillie version.
@@balladsofhistorySorry your burnt put bro. I kbow its alot of work. You do a good job tho. This introduces this music to hists of new ppl. I appreciate you. I didnt know this one, falkirk. Thank you tho bro. 🦄⚔️🏴⚔️🦄
I first heard this song when I got one of my first Celtic music CDs. Still awesome!
I'm obsessed with this song and with the Scots language.
