You’re the best. I did this for one week before a song I was to sing and I saw the effect. I was able to pitch well. The only challenge for me is getting a place to rehearse
this is BY FAR the best and most helpful series of warm ups i've seen on youtube for belting - i've been self teaching since '11. the warm ups are so simple that it takes away the overthinking aspect for me, which allowed me to sing freely and open up more. you're the best!
Thanks! This is the best belting video I've done yet. Of course, singing is very individual, so different tutorials work better for different people. I have been training mostly as a classical singer for decades, but I have always been trying to break into other styles, such as belting and rock, and it has been so hard.
I found that having warmed up with a warmup exercise before, it was very helpful that you started off with using vowel consonant 1-5 slide, this really helped me be prepared the belting and I wasn't tired out afterwards. I find your exercises well thought out and so helpful without overwhelming the participants with technical mumbo-jumbo. Thank You Tina😊
WOW! I really really enjoyed this video, will definitely go into my regular vocal warm up! Also i started yawning like crazy during the "WOW" exercise haha! Thank you so much!!
Thank you very much for your wonderful class, you are an excellent teacher...I am very grateful for your teachings...May God bless you...A big hug from South America🙏🏼🙌🏼🫂
Love your channel so much! About to go on tour and will be finishing my warm ups with this every day 🙏🏽 Would love it if there were timestamps for each section so those who have done this a few times can skip the explanations!
Dear Tina. I am so glad I found out your vídeos. Thousand of thank you for your kind and profesional advice and amazing vocal exercises. You opened a new dimension and a word of potential progress for me as a “Young” new singer of 57 year old 😊❤
Thank you!! This video was great! As a soprano, my range is high but I really struggle to get my chest voice up to at least a G4 without singing uncomfortably and in my throat.
@@jeselyngrace820 I asked this question because I struggle with the same problem and I actually blame it on my classical background. My voice is a rather high soprano, but my chest voice just can't handle too much
Hello my friend Tina!!!...No one better than you, to make a reaction video and analyze this incredible singer, with an stunning range voice, who is leaving all the experts, literally with their jaws on the floor (Do you remember Jim Carrey's movie "The Mask"? well, just like that)....In 2017, a 22-year-old singer from Kazakhstan, named Dimash Kudaibergen, was invited to participate in the famous Chinese program for professional singers called "The Singer".... In his first appearance, Dimash covered one of the most difficult songs in the world, a famous French composition called "S.O.S. D'un Terrien En Détresse"....Since then all this madness began on the internet, TH-cam and social networks worldwide and he is already considered the best singer on the entire planet... It is almost impossible to see a human being, being able to reach vocal ranges of 8 octaves, that is, the 88 keys of a digital piano, which allows him to reach all registers, both masculine and feminine, that is, he can sing as Bass, Baritone, Tenor, Contratenor, Contralto, Mezzosoprano and Soprano...You can see in TH-cam to all kinds of experts (Vocal coaches, analysts, singing teachers, singers, youtubers, reactors, etc.), who have dedicated themselves to watching his videos and verifying for themselves that what is said about him is completely true...In addition to all this, Dimash is capable of singing in more than 12 languages....In all his concerts worldwide, tickets are sold in just seconds, via the internet, due to the immense popularity he has worldwide.... Anyway, I think you haven't met this impressive singer yet, so here is the link to the first song that Dimash performed in China in that year 2017, the song S.O.S., and if it doesn't bother you, I would like you to mention me as the person who recommended it to you...Warning: You have to be prepared for thousands of views, comments and new subscribers...The video It is more recent, so it does not have the millions of views that the first ones, but it is more complete, including an intro, subtitles in several languages and better audio and sound quality....th-cam.com/video/bDX3FhmyNac/w-d-xo.html
I really dream to experience one on one formal voice lesson but im nto afford i live alone and have no one no parenst no seeblings example i go voice coach how much is it per course or sessions?
No one has ever told me not to scrunch my nose. I love the ngya exercise but have been doing it wrong. I have constantly struggled with sounding too nasally and my last voice teacher (was a university class so limited time) was just wanting me to find mix belt and said we could worry about the nasally sound later. So glad I now know how to fix it.
You be looking so proud like you can hear me😂😂😂it’s very encouraging.
the fact that im looking directly at her and shes looking at me also helps me be more confident singing in front of others
This was the best belting exercise I’ve ever done 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Exercises:
Hey slide - 0:55
Hey - 2:23
Mee eh ah - 3:53

So I am fairly satisfied with my voice, but when it comes to belting...yeesh. This has helped me so much, and I am forever greatful. THANK YOU!

Did you train classical singing by any chance?
@@akuma.a No. I know I probably should have but I started with musical theater.
