Hey price increases are happening to even eggs, Ford, toyota doesn't matter. Don't try to teach Dodge a lesson by punishing yourself out of a 392 monster! I was even priced out completely from buying one of the Demon 170 and I'm a Dodge executive. Unfortunately price increases impact everyone but I'm not about to get rid of my hellcats or 392 durango just because I'm priced out I still love Mopar or no car always for me 😎 I understand the supply and demand of hot cars it is what it is this one is a instant classic will be worth over 500k very soon being the record holding fastest car on the planet. @richardharper3026 Exactly 💯 👏 Why punished yourself? Dodge won't get hurt by your personal 392 being sold just enjoy it have fun always. Life is better enjoying awesome car experiences.
The car isn't worth the markup. If it actualy sold at MSRP then yeah, It's a win for a factory car. If history holds true, this car won't see 8's. Hopefully it does break the 9's. Regardless Dodge built the right car, it's just sad dealers are price gouging.
Yes true however with the introduction of the Jailbreak it allowed and that passed on to the New Demon 170. In person this spec is actually really impressive and good looking best interior and one of the best exterior colors together. Sharp contrast but still good looking.
I did show a close up of the logo/ Jewel but not super close to really show off the Yellow Jewel. I'll record a short of the jewel it looks awesome in person!
Imagine walking into a dodge dealership in 1970 and seeing the price on the window sticker of a challenger of THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS. thats the same as paying 240gs for this

@richgarcia6040 Ok that's good so far. I'm still skeptical here is why. What dealers will do is a bid system on these cars. They are attempting to secure your bid at 100k over. Next person that wants to buy it bid is available at 150k over. They agree, next person bid is available 200k over, next person is available for a at 250k over. My point is until someone contracts on the car with full cash in house it will be available to bid on so I wouldn't hold my breath unless they allow you to contract on it in transit, pay in full, ect to completely take it off the market otherwise you will be heavily involved in a bidding war especially if you allow the car to land expect to pay on average of 250k over msrp near final bids FOR THE right spec. Spec is everything on these specialty cars. It it has undesirable options spec becareful it won't appreciate as rapidly. Anyways feel free to call me I can share my experience in more detail. Current bid is $175 and closing soon
@flyingturtle3384 OH that makes more sense it is a 175k bid. That's exactly what I replied on previous comments that it was likely just a bid and once outbid you would quickly be out. Yes they have sold for 350k+ depending on spec.

That’s insane. I had no idea. He just texted me out of the blue because I bought a truck 2 years ago
Do you think they will hold much of that over msrp value?
Probably pick up a lambo or Ferrari and save some cash?
That would save some cash you're right but you would not have the same brutal supercharged V8 experience this Demon 170 delivers. It has such a old-school muscle car experience 💪 Also holds worlds fastest production car record at 1.66 0-60 and 8.91 1/4 mile time! I do love Ferraris and Lambos but those are compact exotic sports cars that deliver their own unique experience.
@@eliteautomotiveexperiencebro the demon crate engine is $28k…. In a $34k body….
Still not worth over 60k
@sleepii15 Engine alone doesn't allow 1.66 0-60mph, weight shifting suspension, transbrake Demon 170 transmission, ect. Try dropping that crate engine into a Honda and see how slow your 0-60 is. Horsepower is useless if it can't be put down to the ground. That's what this car does perfectly at the dragstrip under warranty and not to mention will appreciate in value vs a rat build that will depreciate and break non stop.
@jasonbaxter5502 fastest production car in the world not worth over 60k? Everyone will be seeing 400k 500k firm sale figures on them in the Used market soon. The market proves otherwise. It is a instant classic!
Why he say hellcat
For any new viewers that aren't familiar enough with a Demon but might know a hellcat. The window sticker actually states "hellcat redeye" on standard options then a massive Demon 170 option makes it a Demon 170 completely different car all together yes you're right.
Not an hellcat
I know I just stated Hellcat for anyone that isn't familiar enough with what a demon is. The order build sheet and window sticker actually show hellcat redeye as the trim and Demon 170 as a add on expensive package tho.
