My only complaint is you guys need to upload more(I don't mean this as a negative, lbut like the channel so much I wish there was more)... definitely the best rebuild/salvage channel on youtube. It's all about the cars, not other bs I don't want to see.
As bummed as I am we didn’t get to see it start this video was so satisfying to see it come this far . Thank you for great content can’t wait to see this baby purrr
Find the 5 volt in reference wire to the trans connector and jump it to the output wire to complete the circuit , find the clutch signal terminal to the pcm and give it what it needs, most likely a ground , so it thinks the clutch peddle is pressed down when starting . You need a scan tool to read data and if you trick the car by giving it what it needs it might start. This works for GM's.
1126 horsepower and 1060 torque. Loving this series as a mopar man myself! I have a 2019 charger rt and I have tons of ideas so this series has given me valuable insights into what I could run into. Thank you!
I have to say honestly, I admire you Scrap Life Lee for all that you do and the fact that you do it regardless just because you can. That alone is an inspiration to others to keep on moving and dreaming and thanks for all that you do!
You can have the sales codes changed to manual at a local dealer. Will just require the module reconfiguration routine by the dealer ship after the sales codes are altered. If you were close I’d offer to do it for you lol. Good luck!
the only difference is that Tavarish actually started working on the car while he was waiting on other parts and made it look good from outside BEFORE putting engine and stuff
Couple of months ago in Phoenix AZ, I was at LKQ (32nd st and Southern ave, when you Google it), sat a rare, low mileage, manual hemi hellcat motor and transmission. I believe it had about 40k mileage. Looked clean. I believe the price was about $18k. It might still be sitting there. Thank me later if it still is.
Hey guys, if that's a TR 6060 trans, id highly recommend getting a skip shift eliminator (if it's from a stock challenger) makes that 1-2-3 shift very slow for emissions and crap, the eliminator is like 20 bucks and will be worth it. You probably already know this, just thought I'd chime in! Cheers!
@@kyrujames if it's a trans tune then yeah probably. It's cheaper than a trans "tune" which just takes the baby monitors off the trans. It's a bit cheaper and accomplishes the same thing. But yeah you could be right! I just didnt ask my tuner to when he did my car on HP
As a kid I was obsessed with scrap yards metal cars aircraft. It’d very satisfying taking something from a crashed or burned car and using it for another car to function. I prefer low milage factory parts over new aftermarket or rebuilt any day. I collect parts for a car I drive. Because within 5 years my cars from new have 100k miles. Most cars things start going 110-150.
I love watching upgrade videos that run into real life problems, like I always encounter. That's how we can learn, without making the mistakes ourselves. What most viewers don't realize is how much time is wasted trying to video and edit the process. I find that some of my mistakes are caused by video distractions.
I can’t wait for this project to be finished. Seeing where this came from to now is absolutely insane. My horse power guess is ≈1045. Love the videos and can’t wait to see this rip on the dyno
This has been an awesome series to keep up with. I want to guess when it is all said and done, that it will push roughly 1150 hp! Can't wait to see it fire up and get on the dyno
This is freaking amazing, the Demon has come a long way. I can’t wait to watch it roar. But like everything amazing, there’s always that one bump or two or many that need to be overcome. I’m hoping to see it go through at least 1,200 whp!
I am so fired up about this build! I've been a Chevy guy all my life, but this has got me unbolted (For now). I would say you'll hit the 1000hp mark, so I'm guessing 1007.77hp. Good luck to you and all involved.
I think it’ll make 970 hp. I’m a new subscriber and only just starting following the build but I’m so excited to see it finally running, keep at it man I believe in you
Honestly. My friend just introduced me to this since he’s been following religiously and I think this is awesome. Personally I think it’ll make 1,043 Horsepower and probably around 954 lb-ft of torque
a small but EXTREMLY useful tip, that carrier bearing install. well, 90% of all installs call for you to push them towards the transmission when tightening down to "preload" them. otherwise you get noise, shakes, etc. make sure both are at the same spots however. In the video, it looks like you just sent it in. not knockin your work or "being that dude" just dont wanna see you have to redo this again within 6 months of premature failure.
One thing you guys are overlooking is the fact that the pcm that came with it has to see all the components that came were with the car from the factory to even have a remote chance of starting. That includes the air conditioning that you eliminated, the U connect, and all the applicable computers, wiring and even lighting systems that the car was assembled with. That’s a whole can of worms in itself. Gas monkey had those same issues with their shardcat dart a few years back,as well as roadkill with their General mayhem swap…
I love the rebuild! Ive always enjoyed having or rebuilding something that looks like it's been through hell and back, and is just faster than its return trip! Ive rebuilt a gew cars in my day, but never anything nearly this cool, and im not even a Dodge guy. I hope you get it running soon, they are very overly complicated.
Nice rebuild! Gotta love that demon motor! Better have a good security on your car because thieves will steal it! My brother had his stolen, repainted & crashed! He has anther one, but he added security to it!
When you put the rear differential In you should also do the lock out kit and a diff brace. Also the stock sway bar end links are too weak. Use UPR heim jointed in the front and speedlogix heim jointed in the rear. Noticeable difference
To fix your no start issue you will want to rewire the start stop switch and run a wire from pcm to the switch then down to the starter. That will disable the bcm from shutting you down. You should also be able to reprogram bcm to shut off warning lights.
i’m guessing if you get it on the dyno it’ll make around 946hp but more after tuning and stuff probably close to 1000hp, love this build man keep it up 💯
i think it would be really nice if you (professionally) painted each panel the color that it already is to make the build very unique and recognizable! also 1060 hp is absolutely bonkers great mopar my brother
Rootin for ya man!!!!! Always loved the Demon cuz my Highschool mascot was a demon and thee coolest car to ever have was a 71 Dodge Demon in my opinion. Yeah the Tolt Demons no longer exist but can you imagine high school kids running around screaming Demon Powa!!?
Man, that's gonna be a thrill ride in more ways than one. My Fox Mustang makes right at 600 wheel and has a Tremec TKO five speed with 3.27 gears, and even with 295 tires it goes sideways in third stupid easy. Fun, but annoying after a while, I'd like to be able to feel what full acceleration feels like with actual traction. I would imagine that several hundred more HP in that beastie won't make things any easier. BUT, there's only one way to find out.
I think it’ll make 1160 horsepower btw I love this series man. Every other day I start thinking about it, waiting for the next part to come out. I hope all goes well with the rest of the build. Hoping I get that rod🤞.
This is going to be one of the coolest Dodge demons ever

@gd1996 this is a good channel not the best goon squad is the original of this typa of content
Better quality than goonz squad though lmao
This shit cost money and money takes time lmao I think it builds excitement for the next video
I love where this has gone it’s a masterpiece
1127 hp after a few runs on the dyno. Good luck with the wiring looking forward to hearing it and seeing it move. 🤘🏻👨🔧
894 horsepower and 836 torque. Been loving the series and I'm hoping to see it run next episode
