Rotts have such a bad rep. It's sweet and nice seeing this dog entertaining your baby. This baby will have a friend and bodyguard for all the baby's life. Sweetest baby laughter
@@melissagahn To me the reputation has little to do with it. Must I gather a dozen stories of this happening for you to believe it? It’s got nothing to do with how the dig is in the family. Babies crying makes parents snap. A dog doesn’t have the same cognitive functions. My point is why take a risk? I’d destroy myself if my trusted dog attacked my child. When you read these stories the parent always says he’s never done this before!! Meanwhile their babe is still dead. 🥹
I’d be so scared for this breed of dog to be around my baby. I know he’s a family pet and that he’s probably a sweet loving dog. They just have the propensity (apparently) to snap. And this precious babe must not be hurt. Sorry don’t be mad!!🩷🩵💛
Never mad. You must have not grown up with dogs. I’m a breeder I would never leave any animal alone with my kid without supervision. And this breed is a wonderful breed that has been given a bad reputation because of bad owners.
@@PageHausRottweilers My parents were sent to England right after WW2 to help put Europe back together. My dad was stationed at Fairford Royal AFB. They were in England 6 years and travelled Europe. Find someone in England without a dog. You can’t. They had a full blooded Collie when I came along. A dog that looked like Lassie except he was Black brown and white. Before they died they had like 5-6 different Collies. We went to a little city in Ohio and got them from the same Collie breeder. A wonderful German family. I have my own dog now I got from the Verde Valley Humane Society up in the mountains of Arizona where we live. So yeah. I know dogs. 🙄 Loved your assumption-tho watering it may be.
It’s any breed of dog. As evidenced by the attacks, injuries and deaths over the years. Often with the claim ‘But I know my dogs would never …..’ Be mad and deny reality.

I think something in both our DNA thought it would be beneficial to be friends.
Well tbf, we changed their DNA to be more friendly.
