Feb 9, 2024 - Sombrero!! I hope you had a wonderful vacation with Kim. I still come by and watch your video's, and remember new things every day about your journey. You were a great guy, with an amazing attitude, and loving spirit. I hope wherever you are in the Universe now Joe, that you are high as a kite, zooming free up in the sky. I like to think of you that way 🪁🛩
Thanks for this update. I am sorry that you not getting the answers to the questions you have. Have a great holiday in Mexico you and your wife deserve it. Sombrero!
Good to hear from you Joe. Hope your meetings with the surgeon and oncologist go well next week and get your questions answered. You deserve that. Hope you and your wife have a great trip. Continued prayers.
Well this is spooky I was checking for new videos yesterday! I get your miffed I would feel the same it's going to be frustrating. A belated Happy Birthday too 🥂🍾 have fun in Mexico 🙌
Make sure to wear a Sombrero when you're in Mexico! Happy Belated Birthday! So glad your cancer is stable. Also, have fun swimming with whale sharks in Mexico! I've always wanted to do that! You'll have to tell us how they went when you're back!
Happy belated birthday! I'm so glad you are stable and excited you are going on holiday!! Enjoy yourself. You deserve it! Please update us on what the surgeon says. Take a pic with a sombrero on!
Hey Joe, thanks for the update. Hope you have a good time in your sombreros. When you get back, look into the Care Oncology protocol. I promise it's not a bunch of hooey mumbo jumbo, there's studies on each of the repurposed drugs they prescribe to target the metabolism of many types of cancer cells. There's a UK and US clinic and they're both telemedicine. My cervical cancer was initially stage 1 in 2018, came back within 4 months after surgery and again 6 months after radiation in 2019. Then it was stage 4 and they said I had "at least 1 year". In 2020, I had 6 rounds of chemo plus the CareOncology protocol of 4 re-purposed drugs- Mebendazole, Metformin, Atorvastatin, Doxycycline and also Loratadine. And I've been NED since then. I still take the COC protocol and believe it has kept me from further recurrences, especially Mebendazole. Even the thyroid nodule that lit up on the pet-ct scan in 2020 while getting scanned for my main cancer, no longer lights up and ultrasounds show it's stable. I refused to have them biopsy it coz I was too stressed with chemo at the time and after that asked that we just monitor things and only act if it grows. Luckily it hasn't. Wish you the best!
I'll be 40 in August. For the past 6 months my GP has started me on a Thyroid Tablet called Levothyroxine. I Googles can taking this medication cause me to get Thyroid Cancer. Apparently this brand will SIGNIFICANTLY increase my risk of brain-skin-pancreatic and breast Cancer! Also if you take this long-term, the effects include weight fluctuations, sensitivity to heat, joint pain, changes to menstrual cycle and autoimmune dysfunction. I already suffer from chronic joint pain in my muscles, joints and bones, as well as several types of Psoriasis and huge list of other ailments. My health is shocking for someone my age, and it's just going to be bloody pot luck that something negative will happen at some point. I'm super worried, concerned and shitting it now. I'm so glad that things are still stable for you. You have the most amazing holiday in Mexico with your Wife! You've been fighting and beating Cancers arse for nearly SIX YEARS! 🥰
I am glad you guys are getting away for a bit on holiday, you two definitely deserve it!! I may have a photo somewhere with Kim in a sombrero, but you two should definitely take an updated one!
That's a beautiful background. I'm so glad to hear that you got to go to Mexico. Keep living and fighting. We are rooting for you here from beautiful Boston MA! 👍👍👍 ps #Sombrero 🌴🌴🌴
So happy for you and to see you smiling! Enjoy your trip and sunscreen, Mexico is lovely. My children's father has had stage 4 thyroid years and he is still living life and working. He lost his voice in the beginning after surgery but now talks well.
We really need to record our journeys with these medical office visits and what’s said. And the ease to get our medical papers should be improved. The whole healthcare system is just pathetic. Makes me want to cry

It sounds like Cabo is working for you and I’m very glad. I’m approaching 18mths on it now myself. Stable disease is good. Persistent trotts not so good. Have a wonderful holiday - I hope you do manage to get insurance. Don’t keep it under your Sombrero.
I have had surgery and lived with some horrible symptoms.. One is drainage of the upper pharynx which accumulation of Snot and all right side blockage.. I feel like I'm drowning and also swimming is affected with my breath. This was a gradual build up were I have severe pain in my left ear and constant sore throats. Swallow my food gets stuck. My initial onset was a feeling of ants crawling in my lower throat to which a build up of pressure and I felt like a tube snapping and a gaseous came out of my throat and it tightened. Never recovered.. Also I have to remind myself to breathe.. Which is freaky to which I was sighed post to mental health.. Eventually they said... Disgusting and never got a apology. Constantly runny nose/flu.. Laryngitis and bronchos. Thank you for sharing and enjoy you're holidays. 🌼
Sombreros are very helpful in the tropical sun, Joe. No vacation plans for us, but I've learned since last update here that my father needs a sombrero of his own.

Pull out your sombrero! You will love Mexico! I used to SCUBA dive and have the same terrible motion sickness. I took Dramamine every morning. The trick it to take it a while before going out. Happy Belated Birthday!

Wishing you both a lovely holiday to Mexico and happy belated birthday much love to you both ♥️ ps. Don’t forget to pack your Sombrero
Hi! That is great news that it’s stable! I’m looking forward to hearing what your surgery team decided. I think like you and prefer surgery.. right now I’m thinking of refusing radioactive iodine and just choosing surgery.. radioactive iodine is pretty useless for most people I hate that they put so much trust in it when there’s little research backing it. Healthcare can be so frustrating, it’s like an art more than a science. I’m so inspired by your strength and I’m so happy you’re going to Mexico! That’s EPIC!!!!
There is a huge amount of research behind radioactive iodine and personally I would recommend it. Surgery can only remove so much and any cells left behind will be too small to be removed surgically until it poses a risk of spreading, which trust me you really don't want. If my cancer hadn't become unresponsive to radioactive Iodine I'd take it today.
Sombrero! Enjoy your time, clear your mind a bit. Weird hearing the F word that often from you, but you're completely right. F*** all that, at least for a while it's totally fine. Everyone needs to have a break sometimes, especially in hard times it can really help. Wish you all the best :)

I hear your frustration. I understand why you are frustrated.... I don't blame you. You sound the same as this time last year to me! So bizzare why they wouldn't take it now. Mexico will be amazing..if you've already got the trotts you will be ahead of the game for Mexico. Happy belated birthday to you. Say hi to the asshole cat.
