Only costs about £2.9 billion to run London Underground every year, but the fares are sky-high now. Military spending by contrast is £54.6 billion this year. Couldn't the LU be made free with some of that money?
+mikey p It's interesting looking back. Ask any generation and they will always say the days of their youth were the best times of their home town or where they lived at that time, their parent will probably have said the same and their parents before them. I watched footage of an 80 year old woman talking about Bromley of her youth, the footage was filmed in 1985, and she talked of how it had changed and wasn't the same anymore. It always happens. Nostalgia is a wonderful thing though, its like Photoshoped reality. I love nostalgia, as you can tell from my posts :)
the problem is the wrong type of people moving in and destroying the area...like a disease..am i bitter? yes!.......but i don't like seeing places like this slowly destroyed..sorry!
Thanks for posting, another good video.
Hello, thank you for sharing Bromley. It looks very nice in Kent. REgards.
Bromley is nowhere near Kent. Kent ends at Sevenoaks
It was nice here many many moons ago.
And without sounding like a know it all Bromley is well and truly in Kent
Didn't you have any geography classes at the school you attended Bromley is very much a part of Kent! @@larry2569
