New to DD this year, I’m 18 below 500 in ranked, I topped at 580 rating and this shit is so fun to play. Coming from FUT for the last 7 years I’m so glad this game has content creators like you cause y’all help me out frfr

Came from FUT a couple years ago. Its refreshing af to be able to grind for just about any card in the game and the transparency of what your pack odds are for a player lol
How do y’all like FC24 this year knowing that 2K got the FIFA license? They should have their own version FIFA25 coming next year.
@@dlo3695 I know fifa exists here, I just mentioned I’m American because honestly soccer isn’t huge in the culture the way it is in the rest of the world so we’re generally pretty ignorant about the sport altogether even if it has a presence here.
Idea that my friend group and I would love:
6 inning ranked co-op.
In 3s everyone would still pitch twice, but games would not take between 45 mins & an hour long. It’s hard to get my friends who barely play MLB to lock in for that long. Games would be so much faster.
The recap program helped me get 2 of the 3 bosses but yes, this is a matter of bad timing. This could be released in parts, like recap part 1, part 2 and so on.

Not only do they wait until there are 14 days left in the season to give us choice packs from Day 1 but they are entirely no sell; they should have just called this the collection catch up program rather than the recap program which is not how the collections should completed or attainable for people
Also, they should have given every captain upgraded to 99 but clearly made Buxton the best built card in program
I loved the program for 3 reasons. 1. It sort of admits on SDSs part that their pack heavy philosophy this year isn't working as planned, i.e. they are making money but not enough players are unlocking collection rewards and or stopped playing because they wouldn't spend stubs or couldn't get these cards. 2. Its admitting that we needed this to complete collections because I don't know many people who were getting that 1st boss without this help. For me, the program pushed me to the 3rd boss and now I'm probably going to hit 400 cards. 3. Shows how important FREE PACKS IN PROGRAMS are to collections because without them no one is spending. This program tanked so many card prices, which I see why SDS would control the supply so conservatively, and made these cards accessible creating an influx of new line up possibilities for everyone. I was struggling to find new cards that I liked and this just bolstered my lineups. Once I finish TA and the BR program I should be at 400/400.
Also hard agree on these boss packs available at early stages. I can't even enjoy these cards for long with the season ending in 10 days. Wildcard sure sure, but I want to enjoy it NOW. At least 99 Satchel will be a monster in early S2
What I don't understand is why SDS didn't just continue what they did last year and allow the previous season's cards to be used in the current season??? That resolves my biggest concern, that I will never again use 99% of the cards I ground my a$$ off for
It’s because last year there was no power creep. Starting the new season with all the 99’s you just earned would defeat the purpose of that.

Ranked co-op won’t have card restrictions. Solo ranked will have seasonal restrictions.
The fact they made us do a collection twice and call it content just completely has me dumbfounded.
They met their goal - I went from 0 S1 Collection Rewards to completing all 3. Yet, I still have limited interest in playing, especially online (why grind for a card that will be useless in 8 days). But I have 450k stubs to start S2
This is what i learned from this season. You HAVE to play BR to have a chance at any collection cards. The only thing i dont have is the 3rd TA done and never played BR or bought any of the packs and i still just barely have Leiter. So now i have 10 days to offline grind TA and buy a bunch of cheap cards to try to get at least one collection card for the last couple days and maybe use them as a wildcard but probably not because the captains might be bug time meta for the start of S2.
Not even. You have to flip the market the amount of time the br program would take you can easily make 500k to a mil flipping. My advice would be take the first week of s2 and build your bank roll
I’ve played one run of BR this year. And I have 360 cards. So no you do not have to play Br to do collections in this game. And I’ve completed live series
i literally have a job and a life aside from coming home from work and playing mlb. i barely was able to earn 200k xp. collected 100 cards for the season. i have a couple 99’s but its not even a realistic goal for me to believe i can get any of the bosses or anything from a season anymore.
2 years ago i absolutely loved this game. but they have 100% catered toward people who stream or play literally all god damned day. people playing like you is without a doubt making this worse. the grind thats demanded is becoming more and more every year

They really should done a program like this at the halfway point or even 3/4 of the way through call it like the 7th inning stretch program or something like that. Lets those 89-94s still usable at that time. Also wish the season reward packs were choice packs. I pulled Seth Lugo out of week 8 four times
i swear that seth lugo is so common lol, i pulled him in 4/6 packs 😭 thankfully ketel was one of those packs tho

You can quick sell the no sell cards in this program
i like the program but the timing sucks, as you said a majority of the cards in there are useless now, a halfway and end of the season recap program would be perfect because at the mid season the cards would still be useable and so would the cards at the end, but doing everything at the end makes 60-70% if the program essentially pointless except for collection progress

These needed to be choice packs. I am missing a ton of cards from each of these packs and I got a ton of duplicates I can only now quicksell (for some, not all are QSable)
i pulled the 99 marte from that no sell pack too go figure
$D$ needs to get ride of seasons and just go back to what they did a couple years ago it’s sad to see what has happened to this game
Game this year staled out so fast, from S1 T.A 3 the way they did offline points, to hiding fun cards behind packs, to getting 99s u cant use in season 2 and just times during weeks were there isnt much to do unless u go online. Season 2 needs to be amazing or you're gonna have no one playing in July

I'd rather see individual programs that give us these packs when they are relevant or closer to their relevancy and then do this recap that rewards the no sells or just a ton of packs and stubs
I quit playing when TA CH 3 dropped, the game just has too many problems for it to be an everyday/week game. All the criticisms on their forums get mocked by the same half dozen trolls.
I have grinded hard mainly off line (needed to get better before I play on line consistently). I am short 5 cards to complete the live series. The value is 410,000. I have 50.000 is stubs. Do I have a chance to even get them? I’m selling everything I can. Love your content. I watch them all
So I think it's really weird how they have added more pack only cards to the game this year than ever before and somehow they made it seem pointless to buy almost anything with stubs.. I haven't spent any stubs since like the first week and I just think that's funny b/c I don't think they meant for it to be that way.. Maybe it's just me but I see no reason to buy any card that will be outdated in a week lol

Hey Man great video! Another question. should i spend my stubs that ive been saving up for ohtani on trying to get cc sabathia for my wild card for season two or should i not worry about it just wondering?
i would save your stubs for now, unless you have enough to complete the live series collection to get babe ruth who you can use all the seasons. Sabathia not worth it as a wild card, there are plenty of good pitchers in the team affinity program you can wild card if you want like cliff lee and kerry wood and tom glavine. Just my opinion.
but if you really want ohtani, of course, go get him, he is ton of fun to use!

If you have patience. I’d flip stubs. Look into guys like the breakout series for instance. You can buy Munoz for 5840 then sell back for 6581 meaning you made 700 stubs each flip. (That’s just Munoz . Sone cards have better profit)
Do that while your bored each day and you’ll have 400k by next week 🤷🏽♂️

This program is their attempt to plug an iceberg sized hole in the titanic with their finger. It was a month too late. It wouldn’t have been needed had they given us weekly or biweekly themed programs that had one of these choice packs as the end reward. Just like they always did in the past. Speeding up xp and boss acquisition doesn’t fix how completely boring this game is. It’s a copy/paste of a copy paste. And the only meaningful change they could make from here on is scrapping seasons. Otherwise the game is dead.
Imagine my surprise when they added a new “program” and I had already done all the objectives…
800,000 stubs worth of investments. Whether they end up going well or not I'm still happy with having thst many!
