I'm an old Battlefleet Gothic enthusiast from way back in the day. I only just learned about Dropfleet's existence this week (thanks Goonhammer!) and I can't tell you how excited I am to start collecting this range. These models look GORGEOUS.
@@rungfang27 I would maybe get a ship or two, but i assume if they bring back a gothic type game it'll just be set in the Horus Heresy and probably semi dropped after a short year or 2 like most specialist games.
I am very happy that they make the spaceships out of plastic instead of using resin. I think the most important issue to solve is to improve the round bases and the transparent connecting pieces between the hole under the spaceships and the cylindrical stick and transparent plastic adapter. The holes are wider or open on the side. It needs improvement.
Great news with the battleships, I am very much enjoying the new starter box at the moment. Is there any chance you will sell the bioficers bits sprue separately?

This is huge. I have some Scourge ships from the Kickstarter and always wanted to truly get into the game, but I really dislike resin. I was about to jump on 2.0, but too many ships were still resin. This is awesome news and basically spells doom for my bank account.
Looking forward to it! Are all factions getting new battleships or just the scourge? At any rate as someone who just started a resistance fleet that includes some resin armstrongs, can't help feeling I jumped the gun a bit lol
Nice i much prefer to work with plastic over resin, i guess that's why a lot of stuff is listed as direct only which will be resin. Plastic being retail.

Missing lower quality sculpts, less annoying assembly and painting… very odd.
