From seeing Anastasia being a timid and shy girl to her becoming this woman in this scene who can speak for herself and stand for what's right. Speaks character development and power to me!
The last scene reminds me of what it feels like when friends promise to be there for you and then they abandon you when they feel they have something better to do. "I'm angry with you, Christian! You left me! You left me when I needed you!" I felt that in my soul!
This is how exactly Ana felt on the book. She's trying to hold back her tears. Because she knew she won't be able to speak up and just break down. I would have said the same thing. Inner goddess was very proud
es 2023 y estoy viendo todas las películas otra vez JAJAJA ahora veo lo tóxico que christian es, y omg con la actuación de dakota, se llevó las tres películas en la espalda ella solita yupyup
The camera captured the emotions I felt when I was a teen and had a crush. The eyes ! The stare ! The mind, going blank ! I felt ever feeling. Well done...
I love the way how Jamie Dornan said in many interviews that he hated shooting for Fifty Shades movies just like Robert Pattinson who hated shooting for Twilight movies. Jamie Dornan is a very good man in real life and a complete family man, perfect husband and dad in real life.
Its a clear indication that even after such level of influence & power Christian needed someone to show affection though He knew in his mind that he as in his own words "Fifty Shades of fucked up". So Christian adopted a careful approach of having Subs with whom he maintained a distant relationship. He took care of them & nurtured them but didn't trusted them completely. Christian grey had major trust issues but it's quite understandable due to his past. Ana on the other hand seems to lack Confluence especially self-trust. In this movies it wasn't very much clear Why she left Christian but in the novels she was disappointed in herself of not being enough for Christian. Somehow Ana understood that Christian though slowly was pushing his boundaries & limits to accommodate Ana's needs. Anastasia wanted everyform of intimacy be it Physical, Social or Psychological in both ways. She wanted to know Christian & wanted to show her affection & even authority over Christian's life as much he used to do. Christian though has his own issues but Ana also seems to be trying to find a happily ever after in this form of relationship. This may be due to the Divorce of Ana's Parents (Mom & 1st step dad) and then her mom getting in to failed relations.
This is a question. Genuine answers only please. After every time Ana saved Christian from himself and stuck around through all of his crap, and he still put her through so much of trauma. She still married him. And had children. He was not even a good husband. He just left and got drunk when she was pregnant. This is a movie and the writers made it work. But in reality if there’s something similar would an Ana make it work ? Would it still feel like she’s in love or would it only be traumatic ? Would it be worth it sticking around to someone like Christian ?
Hmm, in reality, we'll never know I guess. After all, he was indeed shitty at first, but we never knew how much he changed/improved after they had kids. Having kids could change people, you see. Especially those with a broken past. But again, we don't know. And if Ana would still marry him if this is real life, again, we don't know. The answer would only be up to Ana herself.
Imo it depends from person to person. It depends on how the moment strikes, on how and when someone changes and compromises are made . It depends on their willingness and judgements. Each one of us is different so if this really does happen in real life, those differences will decide if we sustain or move on. For Ana, she stayed , for someone else, that might not be the case. If I were to say, I would've tried helping him as or with a therapist not as someone who'll get romantically involved with him.
The story and their relationship isn't as bad as everyone is saying TBH, (And I was one that thought it was terrible relationship based on stalking and violence) When really it's not Violent at all, it's consensual and he stops when he's told to and doesn't start if she said no. Two things I want to comment on. - Mostly comparing to the book 1) The argument outside of the salon, I wish was more closer to the book, because he it just makes Christian look like a douche, whereas in the book, it was Ana who was playing up, Leila was in the street somewhere with a gun, and that's why Christian picked her up to leave to get into safety and Ana refused, and wanted to get a hair cut. 2) The Pregnancy argument, now i'm more informed I feel differently, I again though Christian was being an unfair somewhat abusive asshole. BUT, in all fairness, I think he's allowed to flip out and have some time alone, for a few hours. I also hated how he seemed to blame Ana and not himself, later on he took accountability. cautious, and should've told Christian she missed her shot.
Because not everything's acceptable by the excuse that "It's just the way I am." Like, if you're not affecting anyone by being that way then it's not a problem, but if you are, you gotta change. People around you aren't just supposed to suck it up and deal with a shitty attitude.
Well at his most formative years in his life. Unfortunately, his mother had (has) a perverted friend that took advantage of circumstances and situations. He finally sees something different and feels something different. His growth is nothing short of a miracle (for a lack of a better word). He is smart in alot of ways but he is and or was emotionally very immature. I loved all three movies. I think the total cast was perfect in their roles. Ana was strong in a quite and unmistakable show of strength about her love for Christian. There was no doubt. Remember they were both in their twenties.
No he didn’t but he did get drunk and confided in Elena as Ana said instead actually talking to Ana about it. That’s why I always rooted for her in this scene because she puts her foot down and tells him to grow the f up
