Thank you for watching and don't forget to subscribe/comment!
Very informative. Great to see everything from landing to moving through airport to getting cab. Apartment looked great. Dryer a big plus. Thanks for sharing!
Don’t ever use the private cabs at the airport. Most are scumbags.
Nice place
are you still there ? ..also so I should take white cab and typically will cost $20us right
That’s correct!
I do Uber in town or on the way back to the airport as well. It’s “illegal” so it’s tough to get it at the airport, but dropping off is fine
Did you land from jfk ?
LAX
I know this airport well. Yes…at least an hour just to get through customs and immigration. Learning how to choose which side of the lineup now. Love Colombia!
Me and you both buddy!
Excellent video! The given details are just what is needed and you AirBnB seems quiet decent. How about sharing booking info once you are out of it?
Will do!
You got ripped off those booths inside give you less money than the outside ones. Which Airbnb is this?
At the time I did it for the video, the ATMs upstairs are your best bet
Brotha! thanks!!! do more these for different countries! A lot of people including myself find it very VERY helpful! Going there next week!
That’s the plan! Thanks for watching
Ohhh that's nice.. safe travels and happy game hunting with great people and amazing cafesito 🌺🥰🌺🥰🌺🥰🌺
to the taxis only accept Pesos?
Yes
welcome to Medellin
Go visit the “ Castillo Echavarría “ , it’s a beautiful castle from the beginning of the XX century surrounded by gorgeous gardens . Now it’s a museum in El Poblado area 👍🏼
Right, don't miss El Castillo located in El Poblado. Lots of beautiful art, garden , history and views of the city. You will learn the history of the entrepreneur who made Medellin one of the most industrialized textil cities in South America. Very beautiful place
Hi, Sal! Thank you for the video. I do have one question though. My Spanish is not good so what do you recommend for transportation to an Airbnb? Who should I approach for a ride? Thank you!
I would just do a regular white cab outside the doors, make sure it says Medellin where they’re parked and not Rionegro
No dramas with the - Check mig ?
Thanks 👌
No drama!
I'm glad I watched this video, I had NO idea that MDE was that far out, I just saw the one on the map in the city (now I know that's actually EOH) and thought that's where we'd be flying into!
Glad it helped!
They have money exchange now
Sal, in customs... did they search your suitcase? I'm curious because I will be landing there next week
It looked like it was a random check, but they didn’t check me. You do have to go through the X-ray machine though. Safe travels
Bum airport always hours of lines this airport never made any progress over the last 6 years.
go to PVU airport in Provo Utah Usa their baggage claim is even smaller
Hey to Medellin Colombia thanks you too love you 💞 🙏👍 bravo 👏
Check out the lights at Parque Sabaneta. Awesome
Hi brother cool video i been to medellin a couple of times is beautiful
Buen video mano
Thank for the info! I'll be stying in Rionegro. You mentioned a taxi stand for Rionegro taxis. What color are the taxi cabs?
Thanks, useful!!!
Good video...
Do you recommend a Uber to the airport?
I'm heading there next month..
Uber to the airport is fine, Uber from the airport can be tricky because technically it’s “illegal”
is it a problem if im not speaking spanish at that imigration checkpoint? i heard there ask you where to go, what you doing here etc.
Most of the agents speak English, if not they will call someone over that does. That’s what I’ve seen happen, anyway
Need some guidance if possible.
I am traveling to Medellin with a layover in Bogota same airline. Do i have to declare customs in Bogota or Medellin?
Also, when getting back ?
Thank you
I think I remember last time I did that they made you do all that in Bogota
@@SalTravels great! Thanks. Hopefully is not that bad the line as seen on your video. My layover is 1hr 40min.
@@MrGilv70 good luck!
Sal can you please share how you are recording? It seems like you have it over your head, or how do you carry it when going through customs?
Thanks for watching! I have a GoPro with the backpack strap attachment, so it’s on my left strap and I adjust as I go
@@SalTravels i am from LA too so will be going there ti Medellin and Colombia ti record just don’t really want to use my iPhone to record and give papaya !
Extraordinary!
Cool video, question, is there a tigo store in the airport ?
Nice and informative. What kind of camera gear do you use? Have a great day!
Thanks so much! I use a mix between the Gopro7 and the DJI Osmo Pocket. For microphone I use the Tascam DR-10L

abnb.me/HzPzq8M3pnb
Loved this! Thanks sm for posting this. Getting v hyped for my move to Medellín in June 😋😋
Did he say the check mig was in the system?
Yes he did
Didn't need to show check mig eh? im going in two months and a bit nervous of all the things required to fly right now haha
Yes, I had to show it at the airport I left from (LAX) and at the connecting airport (MIA)
@@SalTravels ahh Okay, thanks brother.
Do you need a negative test to there or just fill out the form?
@@carlfleurant243 as of November you need to be fully vaxxed to enter I believe
@@SalTravels did you just upload your card or did they ask you for it many times? I carry a photocopy

Is it possible to change the Danish currency? 🌹
Wow 1hr for passport control .
It was like 3 flights landing at the same time, crazy!
Do they ask for pcr tests?
Not at the moment, but that can change from one day to another
Medallin has a separate airport? Is Medallin not a part of Bogota, the capital of Colombia..??
Medellin has two airports and is not part of Bogotá
One hour to get in? 😮
Hey Thank you!
Single men traveling to Medellin....
🥹
Did they ask you how long you were staying in Colombia? Or when you're leaving?
puedo cambiar pesos mexicanos?
Si se puede
