You don't know how happy I was that they: 1. Didn't use the "Will they won't they" trope and just let Kipo say how she felt right away 2. When Wolf revealed that she had been hiding the letter from Kipo's dad they just talked it out like normal people and didn't jump to conclusions and split up

Kipo is definetly a strong new Series and not known well Enough, but still Good. Yet, it also needs to Improve on some Things. Explanation about what even happened to that world should already have happened at least 'Roughly'. At least that. Some things are just too easy to guess or reveal themselves to be less than Expectations. For example, i knew the People in the Desert would be Snakes, but i wished for something less predictable - but nope, just Snakes. Also, the Big Boss (the Ape) was a dissapointment. I was really baffled about the Sentence 'Poison doesnt work on Snakes, we have it literally in our Blood and entire Body!" That's not how Poison works, and that's not how Snakes work!! The Music was great in the First Half of the Season, but then gradually became worse and worse. To the end, it was kinda bad, i must say. I hope the Season 2 will be Better and come soon.
What I loved about this show was that they weren’t afraid to have diverse characters. I’m just a white girl who likes watching cartoons, but this show was amazing with its representation and fleshed out characters. Everything flowed so well, and the characters SHINED. Benson’s scene where he tells Kipo he’s gay isn’t awkward or forced, it feels so human, and that natural 13-year-old brand of awkwardness. It’s genius. Wolf’s childhood trauma and emotional character ark were beautiful. Equally genius. In conclusion, great diversity. Great characters. 11/10. Beautiful. Genius. That’s my two cents.

The show is actually based off of a webcomic made by the creator of the show. The webcomic has a style where all the people have a vibrantly colored skin. Kipo is purple in the comic, Wolf is red, etc. for the cartoon they decided to just make everyone have standard skin colors except for Kipo, which they kinda went half way between regular skin and purple.
I don't like the way you discussed so many plot points. I wish you would have explained the show to people who haven't seen it a bit more vaguely, and then started a spoiler section. I went into the show blind because the tiger looked pretty in the thumbnail, and I was smiling a huge smile at the bees and just went all in on what was not a tiger.

My siblings and I watched the entire first season over two days. Its awesome! The tardigrades episode is one of the most memorable, just because it stood out from the others with its weirdness.
If you want to feel old, listen to an adult talking about things who was SIX when FMA was popular. also people who don't like She-Ra must have forgotten how the original series was. I tried to watch the original. Could not get threw 5 episodes. basically ALL the old shows are stupid. We loved them because we were kids and we were stupid. At first I wasn’t going to watch this show because I didn’t think I would’ve interested, but then my sister told me to watch it, at first I wasn’t to sure about it because sometimes our taste in shows are either in sync or very off sync, but I decided to watch it and I do not regret it! This show is awesome, funny, sweet and has a really great story and I can’t wait for a season 2! Kipo and Wolf are my ultimate fav, but really I love all the characters ❤️😊
Kipo and the age of the wonder beast is the first black show to not involve "black American" experience. I have literally not seen a single white main character in it. And the guy confessed that he was gay and it was put to rest in an instant not a long story arc of him discovering his "gay" or trying to find love in this anti gay world.
I hope season 2 will give Benson more backstory, explaining how he met Dave and maybe what happend to the human parents of him and Wolf. Also maybe a confrontation with Wolfs awful wolf family. The thing that bothered me the most was the bad guy I just can't take him serious at all, i hope they can make him a little more menacing...
The location of the setting is in the American Southwest, given the name of the Area is Las Vistas, so my guess is somewhere around Nevada or California.

Finally i have been waiting for the roundtable to talk about kipo
At first I wasn’t going to watch this show because I didn’t think I would’ve interested, but then my sister told me to watch it, at first I wasn’t to sure about it because sometimes our taste in shows are either in sync or very off sync, but I decided to watch it and I do not regret it! This show is awesome, funny, sweet and has a really great story and I can’t wait for a season 2! Kipo and Wolf are my ultimate fav, but really I love all the characters ❤️😊
it takes place in the usa. the city was shown in the first few seconds of episode one and its name was shown.

Kipo and the age of the wonder beast is the first black show to not involve "black American" experience. I have literally not seen a single white main character in it. And the guy confessed that he was gay and it was put to rest in an instant not a long story arc of him discovering his "gay" or trying to find love in this anti gay world.

I hope season 2 will give Benson more backstory, explaining how he met Dave and maybe what happend to the human parents of him and Wolf. Also maybe a confrontation with Wolfs awful wolf family.
The thing that bothered me the most was the bad guy I just can't take him serious at all, i hope they can make him a little more menacing...
The location of the setting is in the American Southwest, given the name of the Area is Las Vistas, so my guess is somewhere around Nevada or California.
