Summary of this video
1. DevOps has many tools: Beginners often feel overwhelmed by the variety of tools available for the same tasks (e.g., CI/CD).
2. Learning approach: Abishek follows a three-step approach: **Why**, **What**, and **How** when learning new tools.
3. Why (Purpose): He first understands the problem a tool solves. Example: Before learning Kubernetes, he studies virtualization and containers.
4. What (Features): He focuses on basic features and fundamentals first, rather than diving into advanced topics.
5. How (Implementation): The "how" varies across tools but becomes easier to grasp once the **Why** and **What** are clear.
6. Transferable learning: Once you know the **Why** and **What**, switching tools becomes faster and easier.
7. Focus on fundamentals: Strong fundamentals (from the **Why** phase) make it easier to learn new tools and adapt quickly.
8. Time-saving: This approach significantly reduces learning time for new tools.
Thank you very much Abhishek, sharing your thoughts
My pleasure
As per my understanding learning 100 of tools is not really required, we can focus on few tools initially and then later accelerate ourself learn more, take 1 tool at a time to learn in detail, see the practical approach of that tool in larger picture , try to understand if the same tool or the technology is used in On-prem , Cloud , explore it very well , and once you gain a very good in depth knowledge in 1 tool, it will inspire to learn other tool. Thank you Abhishek for your wonderfull explanation, really admire the way you explore the tool and technology
Thanks for the insights
Thank you for sharing knowledge Abhishek garu same video telugu lo cheyandhi chala madhiki use autundhi.
Hey Abhishek, great content, currently i am following your End to end devops video also
Hi Abhishek, great video as usual! Here's what I did [rather made ChatGPT 4o do it for me :)]
"I am going to ask a few questions about some commonly used DevOps tools. The questions are common for all:
WHY? (Why is this tool required or what business challenge does it address?)
WHAT? (What does this tool do differently than others, what features does it offer etc.?)
HOW? (How does this tool work, how does it integrate with other tools etc.?)
CHALLENGES? (Challenges faced while using this tool, what makes it less favorite, areas of improvement etc.?)
I need a tabular format with detailed answers (provide as much technical depth as possible), starting from Name of Tool in the left followed by the WHY, WHAT etc. if it sounds okay then I will list the tools."
And it exactly created what I needed. 😁
Another beautiful video from my anjel ❤
Wow, thank you
Hi, nice approach to learn anything new. Thanks a lot. I'll definitely try this...
Great
Thank you Abhishek. Nice approach for understanding and learning with a very clear purpose. Not only to DevOps, but i think this framework can be greatly used in general to all sort of learnings.
Yes, you are right
Well said Anna, your every zero to hero series will have this covered hence strong foundation will be laid. Why What How!
Thanks 🙏
Hello Abhishek, Can you please let us know the good channel for full stack developer. Your channel is simply super for devops learning.

@@AbhishekVeeramalla Thank you Abhishek.
Useful information ❤❤❤
Thanks 🙏
Much needed one 👍
Thanks
You are a legend sir! This is so awesome. You are really thinking about us and this video really explains what beginners are experiencing. The best way I learn sometimes is ask charGPT to explain the tool to me as if it’s explaining to a child, using real world scenarios as examples and ask that, the explanation cover all edge cases. It works for me everytime
Thanks 🙏
I am working as a DevOps engineer last 5 months, at stipend ₹8k, i stuck some time feel depressed and my mind say leave this job.

@@Unemployed_psycho yes, learn and work on what your project is required.
You experience will make you rich. And as the time flows you will gain whatever you been through on project. 🎉
Yes bhai competition kam karo. Good strategy 👏
Stay away from it and try moving to cloud based project, IAAS, Cloud Operations.
Agreed. This approach helps
Great video !
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for sharing 🙏 this gonna get me something new 💯
Great explanation of What why & How with example , but to be very honest the syntax part remains a challenge especially in CI-CD such as Gihub actions , JenkinsPipeline , Gitlab CI . But I will keep my head high & learn by hook or crook😊
Thankyou so much brother.. it's very usefull

Hi Abhishek
First of all thanks for your work … really appreciate it.
I have registered for your session related to “How to showcase devops experience?” But I missed to attend the same. I asked you for recording over a mail as well but no response. I really need the recording because I am a developer and transitioning to devops.
The meeting is not recorded brother. It is a unfiltered video, if it can be recorded, I would have done that on TH-cam itself.
@@AbhishekVeeramalla ok anna. Thanks for clarification.

Well the harsh reality is every organization wants people who have working experience in the tools which they are using and considering the technology like devops it is not possible.
Yup, thats true
Yes, companies seldom up skilling their resources, we should learn everything they want overnight or else be ready for something😊.
All firing hiring trend is going on nowadays......
Abishek make a video on list of tools present in devops
Hi Abhishek, Thank you for your videos. I am aware of basics of Terraform, Docker, K8s, and Jenkins but the question is how to practice without looking at documentation or sample codes provided by tool vendors, could you suggest best way to practice to learn scripting like terraform code, or Jenkins pipeline stages, or manifest files . regarding terrafrom, concentrating on modules is enough or need to learn module development as well please suggest. recently lost job and struggling to clear L2 rounds.
You can refer to videos and github repos for practical learning
@@AbhishekVeeramalla - Interview point of view learning terraform modules is enough or need to learn module development as well. Can i say to interviewer that we used terraform modules only in my organisation

Hi Abhishek, For a DevOps engineer, which cloud services they should focus on?
Start with AWS
After that azure will be also a plus point
@@gajjelliarun1418 bro I asked cloud services not cloud provider
Are you follow to do every vedios like this?
Np 👍 Its ok if you don’t want to trust.
It has become fashion for companies to see devops engineer as slaves expecting coding scripting devops all software tools to be learned , but the pay was min.
