I bought a new LG cordless 3 months ago. It would stop or die out... thought it was faulty but after watching your video on cleaning the filters...it now works perfectly. Thank you so much!😊
Ive had this vacuum for almost a year.. always wondered how to clean it. Finally tired of sticking swiffer duster to get the dust out i came across your video. Had no freaking clue how to take that thing apart and i did so flawlessly with your content, thank you, Like a million. My vacuum looks brand new now 😅
THANK YOU!!! I was having the “power surging and then die” issue for weeks and was at my wits end with the vacuum. I replaced the battery thinking that was the issue since I regularly clean out the canister. I was looking at new LG cordless vacuums and didn’t like the prices so decided to google the issue and your video came up. I did all your steps and the vacuum pole was clogged with a water bottle cap. It took a few minutes to get all the debris out and the cap finally came out, cleaned everything up, changed the yellow filter (didn’t know that’s where it was located) 🤦🏻♀️ and vacuum works like brand new. I tell you knowledge is power! Than You so much for your informative video!!!
We’ve had our LG CordZero for about a year and a half and it has worked well until this surging thing. I thought it was clogged filters however after cleaning it still surged. The suction inlet was clogged, problem solved. Great help!
AHA!!!! Briliant idea to use a flashlight to check for dust and debris. THAT worked perfectly and now the vacuum works like it should. I had cleaned the filters 3 times (per another YT video) and was ready to call LG and return the vacuum. Your flashlight idea revealed several large chunks of 'stuff' stuck in the narrow assembly inside. Thank you so much!
You were JUST about to show removing the gray side piece from the roller and it cut to something else about shipped parts (at 5:20). Any info on how to do that? I feel like I’m about to break that piece. Thanks!!
I have cleaned all of the filters and have made sure nothing is clogged but my Cord Zero keeps shutting of if I try to use turbo power. It seems to work fine in the lower settings. I have two batteries and both appear to be fully charged.
great video but any idea how to change the vacuum dust container bottom plate? we have the spare part and removed a screw but unsure how to get the old one out without breaking the whole thing!
I love this vacuum however recently took the carpet head brush roll apart to clean and put it back together but it will no longer spin. I tried the vacuum with my hardwood floor head and it spins great. What did I do wrong? Thank you!
I wish there was more information on the bearing ball part or how you even took it apart, literally no info found online, this video is bout the only thing I found.. am sure thats the problem and guessing my gf must of drop and not notice it falling out or something? but how to go about buying one . like how did u get it off. mane please explain do u snap it off carefully or this done off screen sorry for the long comment
I cannot find the model number, I've had it approximately 4 years, never replaced any parts, including the battery. The battery has a date of 2020/07/24. I'm afraid to order a part, (filters) and get the wrong ones. I've looked from the top to the bottom.. nothing. Also, LG says you can wash the top filter that you were talking about. Please help
I have a central vacuum and need to replace the powerhead. I have carpet tile and hardwood. Can you recommend something That isn't super expensive. I was looking at et1 et-2 and ebk360, any other suggestions. I need a bare floor brush also and wands to Go with the powerhead and bare floor brush.
My compressor ring thingy seems to be blocked from retracting all the way back (about 1 inch short). This means the dust/dirt ends up above the compressor ring😢. Any ideas of how to fix this? It feels like the it is hitting something hard somehow (near the retracting bar or lever). I’ve tried taking it apart as far as I can but can’t find a blockage.
There's no reason to remove it. Changes as whole assembly. All these are under warranty right now call the 1-800 number and have a new head shipped to you.
Dude, I accidentally started the vacuum cleaner without the cyclone cylinder filter and vacuumed the carpet for about 30 seconds. Could dust get into the engine and how do I clean the vacuum cleaner in this case?
My battery wont charge. station charging light flashes for a couple minutes then stops. I read online theres a safety switch you can toggle but i cant find directions on how to open the battery and get to that switch. It doesnt charge when connected to the vacuum either. If u can help i’d appreciate it very much.
This have less cyclons i think 8 compared with dyson that have 12 of it, this mean that the prefilter motor get more often dirt than dyson v11 or v15? But in this you can take off the cyclons and clean them in dyson i willnever because in gona distroy it😂
@@PerformanceReviews so even lg doesent make the prefilter dirty often like dyson? Also the conic cyclons seem have different shape in lg seems so straight and not in tornado shape i don't know 😅 and us y can see from other comment, a lot of people's after 3 months lg was not vacuming loss suction i don't think his happen in dyson, but the way i like bpth and i don't know witch one choose, lg is better because much more strong power suction in the test of dyson v11, and you don't have to keep the botton for running it, is more quiet, but dyson have the laser 😍 and i guess a well engenired cyclons and better empty solution
You are supposed to wash that paper top filter, it says in the manual. None of those things go in the dishwasher though, just hand wash them in the sink. good grief.
Sometimes it just means definitely have read through the manual. It's a horrible idea to wash HEPA filters that's well documented with vacuum companies. Why hand wash it if it fits in the dishwasher?

Glad it was useful! Thanks for watching.
I just bought an LG vacuum and have used it once. It was great! I watched this video for hints on caring for it. Thanks for the useful advice!
Dude literally saved me hours of figuring this out!
This channel is great! Give LG some credit... how many multi cyclone vacuums are designed in a way that you can easily clean the cyclones?
You were JUST about to show removing the gray side piece from the roller and it cut to something else about shipped parts (at 5:20). Any info on how to do that? I feel like I’m about to break that piece. Thanks!!
Thank you this video is very helpful because I just bought an lg at Costco yesterday
Perfect, it worked perfect, thank you so much for the help!

Mine is doing this, too. Did you ever figure it out the cause and/or a solution?
I'm buying a new A9 MOTOR (HANDHELD) UNIT FRIM EBAY 90$

Hi, I need to know what type of screw is the one that holds the ring that pushes the powder down into the tank, thanks
You at the best! It fixed it.

Great video! Solved my problem! Thank you!
Glad to here
by the way cartridge bearing looks like the 608rs or 608zz variety. Same style as used in the Bissell Big Green carpet cleaner brush roller end caps.
I wish u showed us how to took out the barring in camera.
Interested to see how repairable the LG is compared to a Dyson.

I need the cyclone filter that came with the vacuum, any idea where I can get one? The after market ones don’t fit. Thanks
I had no idea the attachment opened the filter!!!!!
Thanks for watching. Subscribe for more great ideas.

What's a good central vacuum, I did see your MD central vac video. That brand is hard to find here in Canada.
I couldn't begin to recommend something in a market in a different country. Call up your local people there.
How many watts volts etc should the central vac have? And the capacity? I have a large house.
What does clip underneath to open look like?
Can you show me a close up of clip underneath
thanks, this helped a lot :D
Crevice tool to remove filter and gain access above the pushout ring, genius. Then depress the ring to remove the blockage. Wala. Thx
U helped me. Thanks
How did you get the lid back on? I can’t get mine back on
any idea what to do if the joining nozzle detaches from the unit?
Call customer service and have them replace it.
Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Very helpful cheers dude
Hell my beater bar is not spinning can you help😅
if there's a way to use my Milwaukee batteries instead
Btw, LG stands for Lucky Goldstar. Life's good is a strap line they used in the 90s I believe.
clogged pipe, Thanks!

just pull that lever and vacuum or blow air on trapped dirt underneath it... you'll be surprised!
Well that was a lot easier than my wife made it out to be 😅
08:24... For such a handy man like you... That's very unacceptable!
