Love how you go the extra mile and use cheep items to clean it. when I first got my LG I was Thinking of letting go of some of my old vacuums but you are so right just break them out ones in a wile to clean the LG makes it faster and way cleaner. Tks. U helped a lot. I had a big doubt and u nailed it buddy! In the Maintenance sheet that comes with it wasn't clear about a piece of the nozzle. In the sheet the Cleaning Nozzle tube looks completely empty, so I thought the Black tube had to be removed also, see, so their not so specific explaining. Tks again. Your video is excellent, only I have trouble with cleaning the head to get the roller out. Could you please show it and show which way you turn the coin to make it release I had a go both ways. So if you could please show that close up. Many thanks

Great video. Thanks for posting. Been looking for a replacement soft roller brush for my A9, but for the life of me cannot find it. Almost like they don't make the dang thing.
Do I need to leave the charging station plugged in all the time? Even after the vacuum has been fully charged ? I ask this because after my a9 finishes charging, the blinking lights turn off but after 24 to 36 hours the light starts blinking again saying that it is charging without me using the vacuum. Great video!! 👍👍
I recently cleaned the carpet head brush roll and reassembled but now it will not spin! Vacuum working perfect and brush roll worked previously. I’ve taken it apart now a dozen times to troubleshoot but it will not spin. Any ideas?? Thank you!!
How do you clean the plastic part that houses the beater bar thing, mine is so dusty and I have a clean home the plastic part on top of the rotating bar
You used tweezers to clean around the wheels. I want to know if the wheels can be removed if hair is tightly wound around the wheel pins and you can't unwind it. My iRobot can pop the wheels out but I was afraid to force the little pins holding the wheels in on my LG.
@@VacMaster1991 its over 1 year no longer under warranty. lg would not commit its a bad design in my country. battery life issue(without protection circuit) and button issue.
They spin normally until they connect into place. Once they connect into place they stop turning. I’ve tried playing around with them with no luck. I find it odd that it’s both brushes doing the same thing. The vacuum itself works fine. There’s normal suction. I’ve had it for only 8 months.
is universal power nozzle good on tile floor? mine didn't come with the hard floor nozzle. i have all tile and i don't want it to destroy the plastic roller with the bristles. thanks!
Hi there! I just hit play but wanted to know if anyone has experienced the illumination of the battery light going from 3 bars to two bars? I couldn't find anything about ti in the manual. I could be blind. So now the top and middle bars are lit but the middle bar isn't.
Just curious, why would running the vacuum without the filter ruin it? I know the in the case of this vacuum, it doesn't even produce suction without the filter (ask me how I know...) but I can't think of any reason it would break the vacuum permanently.
YESSS. Never EVER run the vacuum without a filter!!! You will suck dirt in to the motor and ruin the vacuum. Wash the filters in water to clean them. Sit them to dry for 24hrs and put them back in.
@@VacMaster1991 Interesting, I guess I still don't understand why. I thought the filter was for air that was going to be exhausted. But I trust you're the expert - would you consider making a video on it? Or if you already have could you point me to it? Just interested in learning about how it works, not planning on doing it again haha
The green pre filter protects the motor from damage. The top exhaust filter is to clean the air before its expelled from the vacuum. Using it without the top filter is still risky and not recommended.
My carpet nozzle cleaner is giving me issues. I start up the vacuum, works well for 3 seconds that immediately stops turning and a loud noise is made. Already cleaned it, no hair is anywhere on the brush but as soon as I turn on it comes to a screeching halt. Any ideas what to do????
Ummm. Honestly. It's probably ruined😔. It's impossible to remove all water from inside. Remove the battery don't turn it on. I would recommend replacing the hand vac.
Give it a good 72 hours or more to dry and give it a shot. Worst case scenario it’s toast but let it sit until you’re sure it’s completely dry before attempting. As he said pull the battery and make sure EVERYTHING is dry.

Good video! How often should maintenance be done on LG cordzero?
Depends. Wash the filters once a month. Visually inspect the brush roll for hairs and clean when needed.

A microfiber rag and glass cleaner works good.

The main housing with the motor. No i wouldn't. It may push dust in to the motor
Both my rollers aren’t turning after I cleaned them. They are attaching in place but not spinning. Any tips?
See if any contacts are corroded. See if they spin without the roller in place

Try replacing the rollers, the bearings might be bad.

The same reason why car/trucks have air filters. Without them you would suck dirt into your combustion chamber and it would grenade the motor.
