As a Real Madrid fan i knew CR7 would register a goal whenever he played. He was consistent in big occasions. He was phenomenal. I was rather worried about our defense 😂😂

Ronaldo played with Roy Keane, Paul Scholes, Vidic, Ferdinand, Rooney, Tevez etc at Man U and than Ramos, Benzema, Modric, Kroos, Alonso, Bale, Casillas at Madrid. He was hardly surrounded by dummies. Messi is a far more complete footballer than Ronaldo who essentially is a goalscorer. Messi can run a game, link the play up, his passing is far better and he is a much better team player. Look CR7 is a great player but nobody who knows the game thinks he is better than Messi. Only Maradona compares. Messi doesn't have to score to be majestic, if Ronaldo doesn't score he does very little else. That's the difference. Messi has scored over 800 career goals and far more assists than Ronaldo.
