    Update!!! Hello everyone 😊As I mentioned before if the part didn’t work I would let you know, so here we go 😅after a few weeks of testing I realized that the part I initially installed was causing my vehicle temp to rise 😮above normal and the 2nd fan was not initiating. I went to my local AutoZone and got one (Sandtech PN: MT4133 $160) and now it’s working great with both fans active and maintaining normal temperature 😊 ✌️ n thanks

      Hey, Thanks so much for the video! I just bought the MT4133 on AutoZone. Any update?
      I see someone in the comments had the same issue coming back after 2 weeks. Is it still working on your side ??

      @@RiddleTime-TV Hello 👋 mine is still working great. It has been more than a year.

      Thank you SO much for this great video! Successful swap for the Santech but upon starting the car I now have a transmission failure message. I plugged in an OBD2 scanner 7e8 and 7e9 fault codes came up. Any experience with these coming up after a fan module replacement and what this can possible be? I’m truly just in a two steps forward one step back cycle post Hurricane so hoping it’s nothing major. Same year Evoque 2012, with less than 80k mileage and the Dynamic package.

      @@pzappone9502 I would change it again, the part you bought from the part store is under warranty. But to be honest, I don’t think one has any thing to do with the other. Try erasing the code and see if it comes back.

      Unfortunately I can’t return since I got the Santech via eBay, it was a fast ship and $70 savings but no returns. I think you’re right though, the transmission failure OBD codes point to issue elsewhere, it was just the timing that made me think you may have encountered and had a suggest. My luck just continues to worsen so off to the dealer I go. Thank you so much for your video and response it did actually stop the fan!

    This video was a life saver!!! My fan ran all night and drained my battery…I immediately searched TH-cam for a video on what the issue was. Your instructions where very detailed , exact and easy to follow. My nephew who is a beginner at auto work, was able to follow your instructions a fix easily. I didn’t have time to order the part needed it immediately, part was $170 at Auto Zone, compared to $30 on Amazon But that still save a ton of cash by skipping the dealership on this one! Thanks again

    If I’m standing in front of the car my right fan isnt staying on when the car is off it’s only the right one. I was told it’s the module at the shop. He said to buy module but I might as well get the coolant fan assembly so the module can fit. I know that’s some bull that’s just more money. I can replace the module myself if I had to. I hate how men try to get over on women, but your video has gave me insight. He told me he had to take bumper off and everything. I have a 2014 evogue

    • @AllAboutCarzz
      @AllAboutCarzz  ปีที่แล้ว

      @Jackie-sw9gp - Thank you for your comments, with patience I think 🤔 one can do this job, I did not replace the fan and no bumper removal, as the saying goes “more than one ways to do things” this car is a 2012 but we also have a 2014 and the problems tend to follow each other, I have another video about liquid that are the same for both.
