    That's real dieting, something you can keep on going even after losing weight just too improve health, fasting don't help at all, and if you enjoy food can be really painful not being able to eat what you want. The best way is to low sugar, salt and additives so that way you lose weight and still has the best of a foodie life.

      Actually, fasting is the easiest way to lose weight and to become healthy. You should read up on the benefits of a water fast and the testimonials of many people who have done water fasts. The longest recorded fast was 382 days and the person lost 456 pounds (207 kg). Obviously, if you do water fasts of longer than 30 days, you should be monitored along the way by doctors or fasting experts. Once you get over that initial stage of hunger, the fat in your body will sustain you. Fat is stored energy which will burned up when there isn't food intake. Your body will let you know when the fat reserves are near depletion when you start getting really hungry again. Craving food isn't hunger.

      For people reading the last reply about water fasts, dont. No good medical expert will tell you to do a water fast, even for a few days. To go and do one yourself is damaging, so please be careful.

      @@MinttMeringue You obviously should read up on the subject before you do, as I did, and there is nothing wrong with water fasts. You may need to keep your electrolytes in balances but that can easily be done by drinking lightly salted water. When you go to a hospital for a stomach problem, what do they do? They put you on a water fast with an I.V. for electrolytes. I know as I was in the hospital for a week 10 years ago for diverticulitis and also in high school for a gall bladder disease where i wasn't allowed to eat anything for two weeks then.

      @@rxlxviii yes, you did do one, because you were literally in a hospital and professionals decided it was the only way to go. (As yeah, some issues cant even have a nutritionally balanced liquid diet through IV and do have to have a water one.) Unless someone is in a hospital for certain issues/illnesses, water fasts and extremely unnecessary and cause too many problems and have too many other risks as well. You going and telling people to just go drink water only for a few weeks is so dangerous that I legit thought you were a troll. Again, no medical professional worth their salt would just go recommending them to most people for weight loss or "detoxing" or whatever.

      @@MinttMeringue i did a 30 day water fast on my own last year and my doctor even said it was a good idea. My diabetes went away and my sciatica disappeared. There are doctors who read up on the latest research and studies and keep on top of things. There was even a TED talk about the benefits of fasting. But I suggest you look up videos on the subject of fasting and autophagy, benefits of water fasting, etc. There are many doctors who advocate fasting. There was even a nobel prize given to the studies of fasting and the benefits of autophagy.

    When I was young I didn’t know I starve myself to slim down. Yes I lost weight pretty fast but I gained them fast ane became fatter as well. To lose weight is to eat healthy and a plus point is to work out consistently. Those bread that you always eat in the morning, replace them with oats or bananas. Rice for lunch? Replace with brown rice or chicken. That’s the only way to lose weight without gaining them back

    shin young's diet is a healthy no starving yourself. its a slow diet, not extreme fast lose weight. sunyoung have to be very patience and not losing willpower to do this kind of diet.

    I periodically go on diets and realize that it is incredibly difficult. No matter how many people say that diet food is so delicious, etc., it's not true! And such small portions that you can't get enough of it 🤣🤣🤣

    Remember guys dieting alone doesnt work! You need to work out atleast 3 times a week. But dont make it as obligation but rather a fun activity! Its better if you have a gym buddy or someone who can look after you and motivate you. Fasting or immediately cutting your food intake wont help. Slowly cut back on your food. Its okay to lose just 1 kg per week. Dont have high expectations the first two weeks because your body is still adjusting to the new lifestyle. Yes, if you wanna lose weight change lifestyle! Also, dieting isnt about eating bad or bland food, its about picking the right kind of food. There are alot of delicious foods that are low fat and less cholesterol. Never ever drink those diet drinks like fit n right. Its just sugar. Avoid eating canned foods because it has a high content of sodium. Have atleast one cheat day every day but dont overeat. Like you can eat one meal of your liking but dont go overboard. Also, dont just eat one meal a day. Its a stupid move. You'll just binge eat in the end. Eat like a queen in the morning meaning its the biggest meal of the day. Eat like a commoner for lunch and eat like a peasant for the evening (preferrably around 5-7pm). Drinking 8 glasses of water isnt right. Drink when you are thirsty. Listen to your body. Sleep for alteast 7 hours everyday. Last but not the least, have a weighing scale and track your progress every end of the week, not everyday okay?! Dont be too obsess about it or else you'll be upset by the progress. If you can lose 1-2 kgs per week (thats the healthy way) then its good enough. In 3 months you're a healthier version of yourself! Dont lose hope. You can do it. 😊😊

      Exercise really helps but actually just Dieting alone can work, i’ve lost 20 pounds so far with no working out and minimal exercise i just ate healthily.
