Oilers fan here who has lived in LA for the past 7 years. The Kings have become an adopted team for me and Dustin Brown was always my favorite King, and I really miss watching you play live. May the next chapter of your wonderful life bring you countless joy and success Captain.

Was at Meet the Players at Dodger Stadium. Was in Dustin's line when it was time to shut down. The usher working the line asked Dustin if he wanted to go. He waved the line in without hesitation. Kings legend. My 50th Anniversary jersey is Brown. He was the first King to lift the Cup so it had to him. Thank you for the memories Dustin.
Anze Kopitar, Jonathan Quick, and Drew Doughty will be the next Kings to have their jerseys retired once they're done from the Cup era Kings bet on it.
I was just a little kid when he made his NHL debut in 2003. Here we are now, and Dustin Brown gets to have his number up in the rafters with the other greats!
I held a lot of frustration on the organization taking his c and for how things ended down the stretch. All of those thoughts disappeared. You got it right tonight. Absolutely incredible ceremony.

From a die hard Ducks fan I can recognize great talent DB was incredible and a terrifying player to play against. Him and Andre were like Selanne and Karyia back in the day. Congratulations DB you were a hell of a player.
Being in that type of atmosphere was amazing, I went to Paul Karyias jersey retirement in 2018 it was phenomenal. There type of ceremonies are truly phenomenal to witness
I had the privilege of watching Brown play four times in person, three in L.A. A solid guy. I wish him all the best - A King's A King Forever.
And great thing his buddy Jonathan Quick was there for this just before he got traded.

Loved Brownie since his rookie year - always finishing his checks, headmaning the puck in the zone, camping out front of the opponents goal getting cross checked in the back and kidneys. Brown sacrificed his body almost every game for the franchise and it was a pleasure watching him work. This week I finally got a UD SP Dustin Brown Future Watch Auto patch RC from a dude in Canada. I been looking a long time on eBay and they don’t come up very often. This guy has fans who watched his career and know he is the Kings Captain, just look outside the arena he’s in bronze twice.
Was very fortunate enough to watch him play many games in the OHL with the Guelph Storm. He was such a complete player and we all knew he'd be a great player in the NHL.👊
I cried when he hoisted the cup that first time. Kings are gunna have to retire 32 8 and 11 at some point too.
11 will be a first ballot HoFer.

The kid from Ithaca New York won two Stanley Cup's and is now a Kings Hall of Famer. An amazing career. Getting his number retired was well deserved. When Doughty, Kopitar, and Quick hang up the skates they will be next.
dustin grew up with my kids in my house in ithaca Sharon and Brian used to pick him up in the middle of the night during snowstorms the man and his family are all heart there's no more to say I'm so proud of the man he became

I’m a caps fan here, I’ve been watching Dustin Brown after the 2009 NHL All Star Game was where I started watching hockey! With 2 Stanley Cups in a 3 year span from 2012-2014 is definitely a well deserved jersey retirement for becoming the captain of 2 Stanley Cups and still continuing his role on this team and sends this team to a brighter future from their short rebuild! Congrats again Brownie 🖤🤍💜

Was never a major Kings fan but I’ve been a fan of Brownie for a while and this was one of the most emotional moments I’ve experienced as a hockey fan. Congratulations and thank you for being one of the greatest hockey players of all time. #GOAT

Watched his entire career. If he had a true goal scorers set of hands, he would have easily scored 500 goals and been a lock for the Hall of Fame. Brown was always in the right position, but, frustratingly often failed to bury the puck -- especially early in his career. I still love the guy because he did what no one else had done --- captained the Kings to the promised land..... Kings fan since 73.

I've been a Kings Fan all my life, 60 years. They did Dustin dirty by stripping him of his captaincy and even tried to trade him. After he led the team to 2 Stanley Cups. Being a leader isn't always about scoring points. But that's all in the past and I'm glad the organization came to their senses and gave him his just respect. I will always wear my Brownie jersy (with C) with pride. GO KINGS GO !!

Man... just looking at Muzzin... you can tell. You can just see his body's not the same anymore. It really sucks that his career got cut short, but IMO the guy shouldn't play again just for his own health.

I’m not going to be changing my jersey number it’s #42 cause my best friend and old teammate Tyler Bozak asked me to keep it and I did but I’m still not going to be able to play with/against him cause he’s retired
I cringed when they took the C from him. I thought it was dirty. Glad to see them honor him. The best to ever wear a Kings uniform.
