congrats on shiny a-aron! aggron is such a cool mon, definitely one of my favorite gen 3 pokemon. underrated part of shiny aggron line is the metal part gets a slight tint to it which makes it cooler IMO.

Congrats! Another way to make the Abra safe to catch is to transfer over a mon with Arena Trap or Shadow Tag. Also congrats on reclaiming that one Zubat that was lost during the green bat saga!
One of my craziest shiny hunting days ever featured a shiny aron, I had just caught my shiny shroomish after 3 phases and I went over to the cave to start my next hunt and got the aron same day! Congrats!!!
working on my dtq, going for the 5% slakoth atm. wurmple was my first phase at 1.2k encounters. now at nearly 24k with no shines lol. seeing your luck on the aggron has motivated me to keep going though!
Congrats on the beautiful shiny. I just want to mention since Steelix is my favorite Pokemon, it is very much a Ground-type. Onix is Rock/Ground, Steelix is Steel/Ground. Again big congrats on the Aron and good luck on the next hunt!
Anytime i get upto 6 sandwiches in sv and i get shitty i remember the kings of shiny hunting like this man and other og full odds hunters and feel silly. GG my man.
Hey I know this reply is late, but emerald always has the issue with SR hunting even if it’s battery isn’t dry. It was programmed very poorly. But REs shouldn’t have much of an effect. Especially if you just let your game run for a couple minutes first you’ll guarantee to never run into the same frames
I got shiny Barboarch from breeding a competitive Barboarch. It took forever to get one I wanted to the point I got a shiny one, but I don't like how the evolution barely changes colors. I am still breeding for a satisfying Relicanth... but I might give up. It seems like I cannot get the Relicanth I want no matter how long I breed: Adamant with 31 Ivs in Atk, HP and Speed. Congratz on your Aron. What are you gonna do with all the shiny Zubat?
