If you don’t mind me asking, about how much was the trip aside from flight? (Accommodation, car rental food) My husband and I are looking to go in the summer and doing as much research as possible! Thanks!
We are going end of August for 4 nights. Renting car from Blue Rental. But we booked 4 different hotels by Diamond Beach, Vik, Reykjavik and Blue Lagoon so not to keep going back to Reykjavik each night. Were the hotels all booked? Seems like a lot of repetitive traveling on South Coast road.
@@gailhodlofski1900 it wasn’t repetitive. We fit the south coast all into one day. I would have split it up but we booked the flights only two weeks before the trip so there weren’t a lot of hotels available and I didn’t have a lot of time to research.
I guess everything was a highlight of the trip
