wanted to include a quick note here in the description since i filmed this video 2 weeks ago on february 26th (before and without mention of the situation the world is now in). and i debated for some time whether or not to even post this content in an attempt to not be insensitive to people going through really intense life changes with the current pandemic going on. i was in a really cheery mood when filming this (again filmed 2 weeks prior) and i would hate for people to read that as careless and inappropriate considering the time it gets posted. i really hope all of you, your friends and loved ones are all doing everything in your power to remain as safe and conscious as possible during these wild times. and considering the circumstances, moving forward my videos might be a little different for right now. i may post less than normal, and also might make some vlogs or non-cooking content. as far as cooking videos go, i'm thinking of putting together recipes with ingredients that most people have already at home since i won't be leaving my house anytime soon. sending y'all so much love as i know many of you are dealing with all kinds of different challenges and life circumstances brought on by this virus. also in addition to my videos here on youtube, i will be live on twitch more than usual so you can find me there 🙃👉 bit.ly/3aOVBZq

Hi, person form Italy here. No need to delete anything. The situation here is bad, we can’t get out of our homes (except for work and health issues and of course groceries) and being home all day gets boring real fast (and I’m a nerd who is used to not going out so if I say it’s boring IT IS) and videos not talking about the situation are very very refreshing and calming. News don’t talk about anything other than coronavirus so please, keep making videos because they are distracting and it’s a blessing.

You guys should always make the content you want, but I don't believe you should worry about seeming insensitive. My sister used to be allergic too, and she eventually grew out of it at around 18ish. But we could have sweet potatoes (she grew out of that allergy at an early age), and now I can say I prefer things with sweet potatoes to things with potatoes.

Aprons are to protect your clothes not be a napkin. Health code violation doing that as you can cross contaminate by constantly touching your apron.

The issue is obviously important, but it's nice to escape from that for a little while. Stay safe, and keep making what you want to make, because we all appreciate it.

cooking your own food is also the safest way to stay healthy right now, with people in the food industry often too poor to take time off if they're sick.
so make some bangers and mash! trust me, his recipe is perfect. you can use regular flour instead of corn starch if you're not intolerant to gluten, and i like to take my herbs off the stems, cut them up well, and leave them in the gravy. but definitely try it!

I just wanted to say, before I had even seen his lovely note, that this was exactly what I needed. I have so much anxiety about the world right now, that hanging out with Julien in the Aries kitchen is just what the doctor ordered. That wasn't supposed to be a joke but here we are. You are such a carefree, easy soul, that it makes me stop thinking so hard, and simply enjoy you cooking your food. I'm not one to watch cooking shows, I usually find them too boring or too intense, but I haven't missed an episode of Aries Kitchen, and I don't plan on it anytime soon. Stay light brother

I read what you had to say about the whole pandemic, however, it's so refreshing to see you happy doing something you love and this is YOU, to see someone happy and not be bombarded with sad news and hear about how everyone's stockpiling goods, new cases etc., I think in times like these a little bit of normal is what every one needs! It's amazing you understand how people are feeling and want to adapt to the current situation by helping those who are staying home, but do please continue to be your cheery self! I have to say I know you’re trying not to be insensitive, but seeing this video in my subscription box this morning was the first time since Ireland was essentially put on lockdown that I’ve taken a proper deep breath and relaxed into watching something.
