@@ninjalen1836 AW1 Sturm works differently on VS, but the meteor is more or less the same apart from doing 4 damage in VS vs 8 damage in the campaign. Both versions of Sturm's CO power use the same targeting algorithm, that being "most funds worth of damage to the enemy after subtracting funds worth of self-damage".
I actually hoped that anyone who does this CO power compilation would also show the chart of all units (power, range, movement). I wanted to see how Sensei's b-copter power increases in the chart. It was a nice touch to see you feature how Sonja's Counter Break works, and also show how strong Lash's SCOP infantry on HQ is. I love that you used Lash to feature Sonja and Sonja to feature Lash.
I think the video shows the effects okay, but it could have done with even the barest of editing to make reading the abilities less annoying. For instance, having a crop of them show up in the empty space on the bottom left during the CO power animation.
Yep. In Advance Wars 1 rules, he’s fittingly a copy of Andy gameplay-wise, though he has his own voice lines and character animations. In Advance Wars 2 rules, things get weird. He only has a normal power instead of getting Hyper Upgrade. However, his Hyper Repair works the same as Advance Wars 1 Hyper Repair instead of changing to fit Andy’s Advance Wars 2 version. That is to say, his normal power boosts his units’ firepower, while Andy’s no longer does.
@@Rexaura888 i mean how can AW1 style maps get neotanks. The first time he pops Lightning drive it's AW1 style meaning there is no neotanks and Super CO powers. Yet clearly he attacks Kanbei's neotank with a bomber. Also AW2 style is faithful to AW2 and lightning drive does not follow DS lightning drive.

I find it funny that even for the modern version of the game. they refuse to explain what AW1 sturms meteor does.
Because it still works differently on VS so they dont have to make 2 versions
it just fucks you up, whats the need of explaining that?
@@Jack-E_Lantern S-Rank strategies really. But that’s it

me too .. me too
Thanks for the updated info, I was wondering what they were going to do about the more outstanding COs and their crazy numbers when on power turn.
Me: *Create a perfect plan*
Enemy CO with their Power/Super Power: *"I'm about to end this man whole **-career-** plan"*
I remember when I used to watch the original. Good times
It would have been a nice touch on Counter Break if they kept the animations as is with the enemy charging in, but had Sonja's troops fire first.
You gotta love lash's design

Did you remember when Sonja said "This is so easy!"
Well, she would have thinked twice.

For a second there, I thought the map itself was actually dancing to the background music.
rip the infantry at the very start
Not so lucky now
Also Sonja's troops when demonstrating enhanced vision. They are doomed
Eh. A 1000 point unit shaved 2 HP off of a Neotank. They definitely earned their keep.
I love the new music

Lowkey was hoping Grit would've sounded like Lupin III
Wouldn’t Jigen be more appropriate?
@enlongjones2394 you're both missing the point. Goemon would make an excellent Kanbei

Wait neo tanks in AW1 style for eagle? How?
It should still be Style 2. It’s just that they went the DS route for Eagle when it comes to his COP and SCOP.

@@Goldenleo16 Maybe pre-deployed Design maps get around the Style limitations?
@@Rexaura888 interesting thought. we have to see how busted max with a neo tank is if that is the case.

I only have negative things to say about the remake but good video, it was exactly what I was looking for.
What is wrong with the reboot? I’m genuinely asking, I’m new to the series, so I don’t know what was lacking of the original or any balancing issues
Not even liking the music??
