  • Elon Musk's SpaceX Falcon Heavy launched from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida carrying a satellite into orbit for Saudi Arabian company Arabsat.
As well as having its first commercial payload, it was also the first time the three lower boosters of the rocket returned to Earth successfully.
The rocket is part of a growing number of launch services at SpaceX, which includes the Crew Dragon that docked onto the International Space Station in March.

Unfortunately the core booster was lost during voyage to port.
Due to rough seas it fell overboard.

That was stated from SpaceX. If you are still skeptical, you can ask them on their website or on their twitter, hey, why not ask Elon Musk via Twitter on that reason.

They don't want to spend more money for another ship in the middle of Atlantic Ocean only to get an uninterrupted live feed from the core boster landing for online streaming.
The problem is only on the online streaming, the offline recorder still records it un-interruptedly and saves it in its on-site digital storage/harddrive. Usually they will release the offline recording after they retrieve it from the ship after it comes back from the Atlantic Ocean. Even if it fails to land.
      EDIT:
I'm also disappointed I can't see the core booster landing live but it's not a major issue for them.
