Starship | Third Flight Test
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 3 เม.ย. 2024
- On March 14, 2024, Starship successfully lifted off at 8:25 a.m. CT from Starbase in Texas and went on to accomplish several major milestones and firsts.
Starship's six second stage Raptor engines all started successfully and powered the vehicle to its expected orbit, becoming the first Starship to complete its full-duration ascent burn. Starship went on to experience its first ever entry from space, providing valuable data on heating and vehicle control during hypersonic reentry. Live views of entry were made possible by Starlink terminals operating on Starship.
This rapid iterative development approach has been the basis for all of SpaceX’s major innovative advancements, including Falcon, Dragon, and Starlink. Recursive improvement is essential as we work to build a fully reusable transportation system capable of carrying both crew and cargo to Earth orbit, help humanity return to the Moon, and ultimately travel to Mars and beyond. - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
I’m glad someone remembered the TH-cam accounts password
Kkkkkkk
😂
You noticed that, too? 😂 Why did I have to watch their last test flight on NASA? 🤣💀
@@AllFather-TheStoicGodbrother what the hell are you talking about nasa did NOT stream that
I know, right? I missed this because they only seem to stream on X now.
Please, come back with the live flights on TH-cam too. Thank you.
Musk himself mandated X only, so what are they going to do lol.
They wont.
They will not. But you can count on Everyday Astronaut for coverage.
Check out NASASpaceflights TH-cam Channels for majority of SpaceX launchs
Yes!!!
The best re-entry footage ever recorded by humans... incredible stuff!
💯🔥🔥🔥🔥
the ONLY reentry footage recorded by humans(I think, I haven't seen any), before this it was impossible to get live feed from the spacecraft while reentering because of the plasma cut off. With starship they had mounted starlink antennas at the top, it is four black covers on the nosecone if you look closely
Begitu pula dengan pendapat saya sangat menakjubkan
idk, I've seen some solid re-entry footage on PH
In fact was the worst reentry recorded, tumbling down and burned before "entry" .
Whoever did this edit, massive hats off to you. Done right.
Nothing beats a static camera 3-5km from launch with no edits. It’s the biggest man made flying object, it doesn’t need music and over editing
@@sighfly2928 still cooler with edits xd
@sighfly2928 you could probably easily find the unabridged video, right? Some people don't have the 12 minutes to spare.
@@sighfly2928 nah this edits cooler. sorry you dont like edits, watch the live stream or everyday astronauts vid.
any idea what the title of the background song is?
Our generation finally has an Apollo to be inspired by! Go SpaceX!
Hi Scar!!!! Absolutely love hermitcraft and didn't expect to see you in spacex comments haha
Delusional.
no way goodtimeswithscar from hermitcraft
@@oBCHANoYou’re delusional, that’s what
Great to see some Hermitcraft creators just as excited as i am for Spacetravel and the future of mankind in space.
One of the coolest videos on TH-cam to date... Also, whomever edited this needs a bonus, the comms on the break and the drop after "Vehicle is supersonic" at 1:05 - perfection!
Same in ITF2 clip. "booster engine cut-off" almost gives me an erection
I still can’t fathom how beautiful they make their shots look of the starship. It looks unreal.
Or it was rendered in Unreal🤔👀
Jk lol. This is too real looking
If it was rendered the starship would not have been tumbling. They would have rendered it as it was intended to fly. The tumbling and the inability to stop it effectively was the initial reason it failed on re-entry. If you argue otherwise, how will you explain this when re-entry is successful on IFT4. And before the end of the year, its return to Starbase Texas upon re-entry.
That drone shot from above never gets old
youre right even the shockwaves on the ground are visible
what i love the most is the sea of clouds above the ground during fueling, on IFT 2 it was soooooooo good!
That plasma blanket was amazing to see live-streamed. Absolutely stunning.
I get goosebumps just thinking about it. The plasma was so mesmerizing!
It’s a shame the heat tiles weren’t facing it eh? 🤣
The heat tile design which is on license from NASA… so we know they work (when used correctly).
Can't wait to see their next failed mission
@@jaydonbrown617you clearly don't know anything about engineering and rocketry for sure
@@symply_ajay tell us your qualifications then?
Getting to see the reentry plasma like that was incredible. To my knowledge this is the first time footage like this was actually captured.
There is a video of a F9 fairing half during re-entry. You can see the plasma on that video too. But this look so much better imo
Also, everyone seems to be forgetting Artemis I re-entry footage.
@@NominalOrbitArtemis re entry footage wasn't live streamed and it also doesn't show the plasma interacting with the heat shield
Starship rising through the layer of clouds and the booster dropping back down to earth was a beautiful moment. But nothing comes close to the re-entry footage. Watching that live, I still remember how speechless that moment left me. Truly one for the history books! Can't wait for IFT-4
I was at school watching it, and I still remember my exact feeling when the plasma started forming - completely dumbstruck!!
I still can't believe it's real - it actually exists. I remember watching the first CGI animations of BFR, I felt awe, but I had this doubt that such a huge rocket could ever be built by a private company. Yet here it is, progressing further with each launch. One day people will walk on Mars.
PLEASE resume the youtube livestreams for 4th flight onwards!

It really amazes me what this private company is able to do. All these bright minds working on such an incredible project. Its really inspiring. Bald wird die Starship Reise los gehen.🎉😊
Amazing footage.
Still can't believe we got to see that re-entry live.
In my personal opinion, one of the greatest flights from SpaceX to date! The plasma bit specifically. Unbelievable shots. Watching it live while at work, it will forever be burned into my memory.
The re-entry footage was truly insane.
I was in class, my professor thought I was tweaking when my jaw straight up dropped on reentry
One of???? Heck no...the best to date.
Was in Band class. Director saw me tweaking while playing snare drum during booster landing "burn"
It was unreal when viewing live! Not knowing what was going to happen, I almost passed out with joy watching the reentry.
