Maybe, and this because the guy was on fire in 80s; Coming to America,Trading Places, 48 Hours, Beverly Hills Cop 1 and 2 so many great movies to choose from, his career after the 80s cannot even compare.
@@kevincockburn7805 That's an excellent way of putting it. No "cornball" comedy...as with all his other films. But this was his first ever picture. He was 19 and actually had to take direction from people who knew better than he did. In my opinion, once he became a god, there was no telling him what to do.
This popped into my head today and was hoping to find this soundtrack. Classic movie with a classic soundtrack. Thanks for posting these. :-) #48Hours #Movie
Jack: All right, where's the goddamn car? Reggie: Be cool man, the car is parked. Jack: For three years? [shouts] Jack: Bullshit! Reggie: Bullshit? I'll let you in on a little secret, Jack... you just passed it!
brilliant music,..this great movie was 30% Murphy 20% Nolte but main ingredient was 50% Horner RIP, saxophone when James Remar comes up subway escalator is exquisite ..or is it clarinet?
That Goddamn suit is yours? That shit was the style a few years back, Well if you ever switch from being a Armed robber to a Pimp you're all set. Aha! Ha!
How many times I have followed this movie and all times that I have seen this one, I think who duo Nick Nolten and Eddie Murphy are a great couple of action men together. 🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥🎞️🎞️🎞️🎞️🎞️🎞️🎞️🎞️🎞️🎞️🎞️🎞️🎞️🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

James Horner signature....great sound...similar to Commando
And Red heat
@@ivans.191 red heat is such a good movie...
Where Schwarzenegger was carrying the log in the beginning of commando
@@ivans.191The director for 48hrs and Red Heat is the same person.
@@mikeychainsaw9760 yep.
James Remar is a badass villain. Great villains always make good movies
It's a good theory but Christopher Lee couldn't save _The Man with the Golden Gun_ . It really is quite shit.
James loves his steel drums
Wow man it is so fucking dope to see someone notices that. I found this page because I was looking for 80s steel pan songs.

Heard this for the first time just now. I was searching for "Steel drums Commando".
yeah in commando and red heat too as i remember
Classic! One of my favorite movies of all time. Badass soundtrack!
R.I.P. James Horner! :-(
Too sad. This piece of music is his shining moment IMO. He will be greatly missed, but will always be remembered.
Sounds like Commando!!
Yup! Actually....commando sounds like THIS. 48 hrs. was 1982. Commando was 1985.
James horner composed the score for commando
Richie McCormick Yea...we know. That's why they sound alike.
Tecanto Laposta It should, a section of this was used in the original Commando trailer. Watch the trailer and you'll here it instantly
Badass OST from 48hrs Those Steel Drums and Drums to those Horns ,Total Badass ❤️
Amazing theme...Gives so much suspence and agony!!!Thank you so much!!!
I loved music and both 48 hours and another 48 the music was off the charts!!The Busboy's are very good 👍
I drive a 2011 Challenger. I love to turn this shit on right when I pull into traffic. makes me feel like I'm looking for some punk named Luther.
Marion Cobretti I thought I was the only one who did stuff like that, lol.
I play soundtracks all the time! Windows down! Whenever I see a motorcycle cop, I que Chips theme. Lol
Remember Luther, when I said I'd kill you last?
This is still Eddie Murphy's best film.
Maybe, and this because the guy was on fire in 80s; Coming to America,Trading Places, 48 Hours, Beverly Hills Cop 1 and 2 so many great movies to choose from, his career after the 80s cannot even compare.
@@Sealdeam He was launched after that movie
I agree!
100% agree. This film has not dated, and does not have cornball comedy in it.

The best
Crazy that those steel drums were in commando too
Same James Horner. Also Red Heat.
This track is so identical to 1985's Commando. I believe James Horner composed that too
Right. He used the same soundtrack for Red Heat and Gorky Park as well
Actually he did and I think RedHeat also...
The door closes 12 times, in case anyone was wondering 4:57
That calypso sound is so unexpected for an urban action comedy!
Also in Commando and Red Heat.
*Amazing piece of Music, they used this in commando too. So epic.*

Soprano sax
4:34 Ganz shows up from the escalator..
The moment was intense!
Classic Bad Guy entrance
Bloody awesome scene. They don't make films like this today. Too much CGI, and to many Mary Sue's
Love it
flash back to my childhood thanks for the up load

🔥 track
Don’t think Eddie ever smokes a cigar in the movie yet they gave him one for the poster. Never understood that.
IMMENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!
''Let's go get us an Indian down the Alley''
Tempo bom os filmes best
They need to do one more 48 hours.
NO
Nick Nolte is too old for this anyway
Was there a massive surplus of steel drums in the 1980s or something?
It could have been the influence of Jamaican immigrants to New York.
This is 3 years old!
Walter Hill!
Sounds like commando
"Ive been BUSY"
7 convicts disliked this video😂😂
lol
"I said I wouldn't hurt her, didn't I?!"
Whatever happened to the girl anyway? She just disappeared from the movie after that scene

They reused some of this soundtrack in Commando 1985
"We ain't partners!"

I came here from Tony baker
Push ups 🙃
Whoever made this soundtrack , he totally stole it from commando .. I swear people these days have no originality
Dmitry KO same person jack.....
Commando came after 48 hours, so James Horner just revisited his own old back catalogue. It was his style and soundtrack to reuse.
good one Dima
