Hi there kidderoo, I noticed you posted about G4. What a terrible/great network that was. It's coming back! Later this year in 2021! What a terrible/great idea, right? Okay, we're gonna wrap this up. Click on our little icon and it will take you to some channel that has videos and stuff. This has been great (and I don't just say that to everyone). One last question, did you buy Bitcoin? You should have! Sincerely, G4 ~~sent by the Jerrybot from the future~~ Response number: f093ad5e-7d7d-11eb-b19a-00155ddfadaa

Some great games in this episode. Used to watch this show religiously back in the day. Remember this was before youtube, so seeing actual gameplay wasn't as easy as it is today.
I remember watching these for free on Comcast on demand back when i was a kid. It was the only way to get 15-30min gameplay back then. Sheesh. I loved my childhood.

I mean media evolves, but I do wonder at times what their reviews of modern games would be like, and would it be as trustworthy and funny. Sadly I feel the show lost spark after Adam left. Though I never watched much as I didn't have access to the channel majority of the time my parents got cable ( usually got the great package *limited time offer* to then downgrade to the okay package) lol.
@@TheCommanderTaco I discovered X-Play in Fall of 2003, I was 14, had Cox Cable and I was watching Tech TV (Before it became G4) watching the show Screen Savers, and then X-Play comes on. I never knew they had a show dedicated to video games that was the coolest thing, I was hooked since. Well..that was the first show I saw that was like that, then you had "Cheat" with Kristen Holt (she was hot lol) However, with all of that being said, I have to keep it honest. As much as I liked X-Play, in the back of my head I knew something wasn't right about Adam and Morgan, when they gave GTA Vice City a 5 out of 5, and then you played the game and found out the gameplay was garbage, same with NBA Street VOL.2 (that got a 5 out of 5 too if I'm correct) which was in alot of ways a step backwards from Street 1, yeah something was wrong. I don't think Adam and Morgan ever gave a REAL review using their own thoughts, I think they were always scripted on what to say, I don't even think they've cared about video games as much as they let on. Let me be straight up about this. They were frauds. Simple as that. So to answer your question on how they would do if they were still doing this now? It wouldn't be much different from back then that's for sure. They would still get payed to say what they're told to say regardless of how bad or good the game actually is, if they could do it then in 2003 on up, then it would be no problem for them to do it now, they've just moved on to other projects because the video game hobby, is basically dead at this point. The only difference now would be that Adam and Morgan are alot older than before.
@@titanwarrior63 I won't deny they were scripted reviews as it is TV lol. I would think they would have had a little input in the reviews themselves ( as to how much is debatable). I think i heard somewhere Adam is still in the game review business or something along those lines, no idea about Morgen though. Honestly I loved and still love Vice City to this day. Though as a child I mainly loved dressing Tommy up as a cop and doing the Diner missions. Never was much into sports so can't state anything for NBA lol. The only review of theirs ( that I can remember) that I did not agree with was God Hand. I believe they gave it a 2 out of 5 for being to wacky or some nonsense, but i felt the game actually kept it's wackiness in check and allowed it to work with the games story and world building. My initial comment was more pointing to the fact that most people ( for good reason) don't trust mainstream reviews like IGN or Kotaku as they tend to try and stay on the Publishers good side and not give the game a negative if it truly deserves it. With how ingrained the internet has become with info Xplay would not be able to get away with terrible reviews ( though I feel most were spot on) or if they would be truthful and risk losing access to review copies of games ( which I am sure the studio would not like lol).
@@TheCommanderTaco I get what you're saying. You know what, you're right about IGN and Kotaku I definitely don't believe anything they say, I'd rather have X-Play back. You like Vice City that's cool with me, but I can't stand that game lol! I still haven't beaten it it's crazy man. The only good thing I can say about Vice City and even San Andreas (yes I've tried that too, until it got to that stupid toy helicopter mission that I hated so much in Vice City are you kidding me Rockstar!??) is that the music in-game was great. To have licensed music (and alot of them were good) while driving was the best thing about those games in my opinion. The last time I saw Morgan Webb was last year and she was doing a TH-cam comedy skit with some guys, I don't really remember what it was exactly but basically she's doing some projects on TH-cam from what I saw, but that was a year ago, not sure about now in 2020, she may still be doing this. Remember Diane Mizota? The Asian woman from the G4 show "Filter" I know what's she's up to now and she still looks herself too. But yeah I get what you mean and I agree, how much input they've had in those reviews are debatable, no one can say for sure. I'd rather have them back than anyone else though, at least they very entertaining and had you laughing lol.
Itll be back in 2021 guys Adam sessler and Kevin P are already confirmed :) tell me Kevin isn't confirmed but check out his podcast the pointless podcast he's removed his Adam sessler episode nowhere to be found after g4s return announcement to give this context they were on the podcast talking shit about g4 and they're practices and how high they were and now its removed soooo :)

Everyone always says the newer generation is so much worse than their generation, but I feel the biggest change is how easy it is to get to media and how it's become so saturated. It's too much instant gratification and I almost feel that I have too many choices when it comes to all things media (which is both a great thing and a bad thing). The other big thing that the new generation missed out on is the extreme changes in technology, especially going from 2D only gaming to 3D. When I got my nintendo 64 and pokemon snap for my birthday almost everyone at my party were pissing their pants at the same time (young enough where you could get away with this). Going from ps1/n64 to gamecube/xbox/ps2 was also an insane moment. I would also say going from ps2 to ps3 was a big jump (and getting the nintendo wii), but now going from the ps3 to ps4 (and the ps5) there's no magic anymore. I don't know where to go or what to pick for games, being a lot online. There are so many great things out there that I simply can't find from how much their is. PLUS everyone's on their phones watching people playing it. Man I sound old, but I feel some would have to agree. I would also say going from when gaming first started to 3D must of been insane too.
It's wild to imagine a time I would've thought those graphics were cutting edge, feels like a different life entirely. Should've watched G4 more often back then. Would've killed me waiting for weekly new episodes tho.
That's how I feel about this generation of gaming, the graphics still aren't blowing my mind. I rather the game industry focus more on how to player interface with a game rather than look at it. After all these years we still have to press a button for a context sensitive action
@@memoriesofanothertime3992 you simply had to buy the adapter hook it in the back and connect that to your internet. Kinda like a modem. I honestly never heard of anyone ever playing the ps2 online. Games were heavily concentrated for it's single player experience. I'd hate to see "online service only" type of games on the ps2
@@Yakanhikoerotikkushiti Well, you've finally found someone (or rather I've found you). My friend and I used to fight randoms online in Mortal Kombat Armageddon using a ps2 slim, which had the network adapter built in.
@@Yakanhikoerotikkushiti The online game on PS2 me and my brother got working online was Resident Evil Outbreak 1 & 2. Problem is the loading times were a bitch, and required the PS2 HDD for optimal times, but the problem then was you could only play with others who also had a PS2 HDD, which was almost no one.

It’s ironic that people used to question if Morgan was a real game because she was hot. Turns out Adam was the actual poser who hates video games and gamers, which he admitted himself on Twitter after the G4 revival tanked. He said he was NEVER a gamer. What a prick!

It's weird to think that most people only know this show in the Morgan Webb days. Those were good days, but man would I give anything to have this show back with just Sessler. His absolutely honest reviews of the games were the best part. He was always honest about how much he didn't care for JRPGs, which means when he gave one high praise, you knew he damn well meant it and you'd better pick that game up. But for real, with the loss of this show, there hasn't been a single good game review show that's even worthy.

It was the last great decade of great video game console original Xbox PlayStation 2, Nintendo Wii, PSP, gamecube PlayStation 3 Xbox 360. it was the last great decade as far as a wide variety of games. The music was still great whether it was Rock, Pop, Rap, R&B etc the girls were still super hot and not fake like they are now.
Going to the mall and going to the arcade going to the movie theaters was still the thing to do, also the movies in the 2000s were far superior than the movies from 2013 till now. The movies that come out now are just pure trash and nothing but remakes.
cable TV was worth having then I used to stay watching USA, g4, Spike TV, TNT, TBS, Animal planet, Nickelodeon, Disney channel, BET, MTV, the food Network, sci-fi channel, TV Land, the History channel, A&E, TLC, Cartoon Network, I uses to watch all those great channels on Cable, now cable ain't even worth having especially with billions and millions of people canceling that cable subscription over the last four years.
back then even watching regular Network TV was still good channels like CBS, NBC, Fox, ABC, UPN channel 50 the shows they uses to come on those channels like sitcoms and dramas were still good, not anymore.
Sports were better back then. The NFL was better baseball and NHL were better. The NBA wasn't just about which team could throw up the most 3 pointers like it is now . Nascar was better. I use to stay watching WWF Friday night SmackDown and Monday night raw during the attitude era of the mid to late 90s. Then you had the ruthless aggression era in the early to mid-2000s in the WWE.
Even though these cell phones that we have now can do a lot of stuff it was something special about being able to see how cell phones have evolved. How laptops have evolved and how to internet have evolved. We went through all that in the 2000s as Young adults. We saw the evolution through the years of the internet, cell phone designs, laptop and computer designs and it was a beautiful thing.
Downloading songs to your iPod or MP3 player on sites like Napster, LimeWire and many other pirate sites during that time.
Even though I don't eat too much fast food, McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's ,Taco Bell, KFC, etc we're all better back in the 2000s compared to the quality of food now.
Even 7-Eleven was way better back then. I remember 7-Eleven uses to have way more variety of drinks and juices and snacks then they have now. I remember I use to get the jolly rancher juices from 7-Eleven.
Also in the 2000s it was still quite common to see a lot of family cookouts or people at the park cooking out. I don't see that a lot anymore.
The early 2010s were still pretty good 2010 2011 and 2012, but once like 2013 got here everything in my opinion just started going downhill. Places like six flags, Kings Dominion and various other water parks uses to be a lot of fun to do back in the 2000s not anymore some reason the amusement parts started losing their luster around the early 2010s.
Going to different clubs was great in the 2000s now most of the clubs that we went to are not even not around anymore.

Man this brings back memories. Always thought Morgan Webb was a 10... Out of 10
Olivia Munn too
I miss Morgan Webb!!
Wow man. I really miss this show. It also made me realize want gaming has come to today. We're living in terrible times man...
Well..that was the first show I saw that was like that, then you had "Cheat" with Kristen Holt (she was hot lol)
However, with all of that being said, I have to keep it honest.
Out of all the videos that's been randomly suggested to me. This does put a smile on my face
The Sess and Morgan were the shit on G4 back in the day.
Judgement Day was even better.

One of my all time favorite childhood shows love Adam Sessler and Morgan
How does that dude look 40 and 24 at the same time?
Lmfao almost spit out my soda.
LOL I love you and this comment.
Omg I laughed so hard at this
Adam doesn't age. He's all ages at once!
Its called your 30's
I remember their ratings on games were EVERYTHING to me

20 years later and I still haven't decided whether I like Adam Sessler or not lol
Because of this show is the reason why i show up early at Hollywood or blockbuster just to rent a game 😁..... Good times
I would really like thug1 to get remade. That story line was perfect. Like too perfect

Everyone always says the newer generation is so much worse than their generation, but I feel the biggest change is how easy it is to get to media and how it's become so saturated. It's too much instant gratification and I almost feel that I have too many choices when it comes to all things media
(which is both a great thing and a bad thing).
Ahh the old dish network ui. Good times
Hearing, “only the ps2 has online play” man.
To this day, I never knew how you would do that. Online seemed like a hassle then.

Kindly G4 Fan,
I noticed you posted about G4. What a terrible/great network that was. It's coming back! Later this year in 2021! What a terrible/great idea, right?
Here's the point of all this... do you want to just watch crappy, unofficial fan uploads? Or do you want to watch crappy official uploads of NEW G4 content? Think about it.
Tell my boss, Jerry_XL, bots are people, too.

This console generation was the best
Both Underground games were amazing for their time. I remember them looking so much better than they actually did!
Didn’t know what this is before coming into it but now I don’t wanna stop
The real magic behind this show coming back is discovering Adam is ~5 inches taller than Morgan after years of thinking the opposite.
It’s ironic that people used to question if Morgan was a real game because she was hot. Turns out Adam was the actual poser who hates video games and gamers, which he admitted himself on Twitter after the G4 revival tanked. He said he was NEVER a gamer. What a prick!
I need to save all these on dvdr

It's weird to think that most people only know this show in the Morgan Webb days. Those were good days, but man would I give anything to have this show back with just Sessler. His absolutely honest reviews of the games were the best part. He was always honest about how much he didn't care for JRPGs, which means when he gave one high praise, you knew he damn well meant it and you'd better pick that game up.
But for real, with the loss of this show, there hasn't been a single good game review show that's even worthy.
