This is looking to be a MUST buy. The cueing was one of my only complaints for the S-9 and the fact that the CF settings didnt apply unless i was hooked to a computer. I have to try this out.
Can one move the waveforms by touch on the screen or are they locked

Great review PDot. I still think the 72 is way too overwhelming and too pricey. I'm sticking with my S9.
Kubonics what up! Yeah there is a lot of features on this thing, but as far as price...it's really not much more than a new S9.

Question why the ch line reaches clip less than 12 oclock ? Never had this issues with my controllers.

Waz good Fam! FEELING lost FEELING confused don't know which one to pick { ddj 1000 or s9 or Rane 72 } I like the d DJ 1000 but it make me feel like I won't be a good DJ knowing that I been DJ on vinyl records since I was a little kid but the stuff that it got in it it could make me save a lot of money!! But the other two mixer I know how to do better things on the other two but at this moment I am confuse Hmm🤔🤔!! 1LOVE #TeamMoneyMaxz #DjManneyMaxz150
Honestly I would say get whatever you would feel more comfortable with. the DDJ-1000 looks like it's a great piece of kit, but are you familiar or willing to learn Rekordbox DJ? Also the price difference between the DDJ-1000 and one of the other Serato DJ mixers plus turntables can be a lot of money, so depending on your budget that might be a concern too. At the end of the day what matters most is rocking the crowd, so whatever you think you can do that the best with, that's what I would go with!
Hey quick question what did you use for your table that your setup is on ?
If the usb at the back can take a hard disk, doesn't that eliminate the need for a laptop?

how is the sound quality compared to s9 or 62 ???
the sound cards are 24bits or 32 ???
Happy Flow sound quality is loads better than the s9

Who wins between the z2 72 and s9. Does anyone know if NI is onto a new updated z2?
Out of those 3, my choice is he 72 overall. The S9 is great, but the headphone cue system on it just never sat well with the way I mix. And both the 72 and S9 make the Z2 feel a little dated.
Thank you for mentioning the headphone cue system! I thought I was the only one. I ended up returning the S9 mainly because of the headphone cue system, although I did like the effects on it especially the echo (thought it was perfect and way better than the Echo effects in Serato DJ). What are your thoughts on the 72 effects...mainly the echo? Better or worse than the S9?

Edgar andrade it’s the frame rate of the camera... alternating current turns the power on at 60 hertz so if the frame rate of the camera shutter speed is too, you’ll see the AC frequencies turning back and forth like they’re blinking. If our brains were faster, we’d see light bulbs flashing to 60 Hz as well

I think the same way, giving Pioneer some serious competition in the 2ch mixer market is going to benefit the consumer the most in the end!
