HA! What are the odds (or was it YT) that i would just have watched one of ur older vids when i clicked on ur channel to see if ur still uploading E.D. vids these days and i see u _just_ uploaded one! Alas, i gtg to work - will watch it later!
damn... i should really try to get better at fitting ships... any advice for bigger ship builds? i literally spent too much time flying my engineered vulture into pve fights, simple straight forward short range multi cannons. i like to think of myself as a half decent pilot, but now i have a billion credits and no clue what fit to spend them on. the one reason i have still not laid a hand on the fdl is because i just can't bear that asymmetric cockpit view. i've been thinking about the mamba, the krait mk2, or even jumping straight to a conda, but there's too many possibility for outfitting those, and i just can't decide what weapons to get in which hardpoint. it would be pretty sad (and certainly inefficient) if i strapped an unholy amount of multi cannons on a conda.
Do you want to do more Pve or PvP? Answers and build will be different. For Pve, anything will just work fine, people tend to prefer biwave shields though. For PvP, Prisma shield and fixed weapons (rails, plasma, but not onmy) are the way to go. 1- I would advice against big ships, especially in pvp. But I case you want to try, here is my favorite Vette build for that : s.orbis.zone/neqe There is a lot behind this build but the main idea is to keep PIP to SYS as much as possible, with fixed MC as alpha DPS, rail and turrets for the special effects. 2- The only advice I can give you is : Dont rush, experiment, use ships and weapons you ENJOY. 3- What worked for me was learning to use fixed weapons vs NPC, then I spend time in a chieftain, Krait, FAS and only at the end on a FDL . I personally enjoyed the FAS over the others
@@jaek5903 for now, mostly looking for pve. i already learned to use fixed weapons because i was getting annoyed by chaff npc. the problem with experimenting is not so much the money it cost, but the time it takes when i wanna try something that requires some engineering. and taking time to put together things that is underwhelming or don't work at all is quite a bummer, that's why i look for examples. trying things on a vulture with 2 hardpoints and 4 utility mounts was quick to try out. i'm not even sure what to do with the small hardpoints on those medium sized ships... right now i'm really eyeing the FAS and mamba because they look cool, but i'm not sure what to do with them.
I know you've added your hardpoints set in the description, but could you please share the Coriolis or Edsy link here? I wanna try your build since you destroyed that cutter in less than 5 minutes :D
He was definitely a noob anyway, you can tell by his ‘competent’ rank, but most importantly by the bad priority settings that made his shield go offline as soon as his powerplant dropped (notice that the pp was not destroyed yet, just lost a percentage, if he had proper priorities the shield would have stayed up).
@@ShinigamiGrin Yeah! Could see that from the start, when he kept trying killing my prismo with his pack hounds, too! Some CMds rush for cash, get a big shield and ship, and then think they are invincible. Pity for them, they miss the beauty of the game, sticking with lesser ship, practice, improve, etc... Clogger won't learn.
I dont think he had mines but Im sure he had Multi Canons and Pack Hounds missiles. The flechettes ignore shields and do damage to internal modules. So his shield went down when his powerplant was about 65% integrity. Power Management issues here
Let’s just hope they logged back in to see the rebuy screen!
Ok this build is just hilarious
Damn this is so sad to fly cuttter in pvp and then clog when shields down...
even more considering he was the one chasing me and interdicting me ;-)
@@jaek5903 these people need some serious treatment if you ask me...
lmao, cutter got absolutely clowned on
que bonito es ver cuando un ganker cree que su nave es inmortal y lo vuelves mierda

@@jaek5903 I couldn't agree more. Especially true in ED, they really ruin the game for themselves and risk of burning out too soon
wait, did he run into his own mines? lol

@@jaek5903oh i see, you targeted his powerplant with flak… that’s mean, i love it
Those Packhounds are surprisingly useless against shields
Maybe vs a biwave, with the help of his multi canons. But vs my prismo it was a big mistake. I even had like 14 SCBs in hold, lol!!
Wow... this dude is pitiful. How you gonna make the pull, initiate the fight and then clog??? At least take the L
