I think the metal trellis would be best. It's open and airy and adds to the van without blocking the view. Also, you could put fairy lights on it or a reading light, or your fan.
I have been wanting to write the same thing… the trellis can be cut to be the exact height needed, would still be open enough not to be a “confining” space.
#2-Headboard gray Gives light through it and firm support. I would be concerned that there wouldn't be enough support and your pillow will push through hole of trellis 😊😊😊
I like the trellis. The nails are just called "staples". Used in fence building. My chives are just budding. Your flowers are all opened already. Thanks for sharing
Metal trellis 1st...grey carving piece 2nd..(suggest putting a piece of fabric on the back to cover the ugly side..and paint the grey part green to match your bed frame) 😊
Lulu another suggestion (😊)... a backrest or wedge pillow to make lounging/sitting up on the bed a little more comfortable on the posture. Could be used against the headboard/side door etc. for sitting in different areas of the bed. A child sized one probably wouldn't take up too much space to store when needed. Everything is coming along so nicely, the colors, the patterns look great. I'm enjoying seeing your ideas come together to make your home away from home not only functional but beautiful as well.
Hi Lulu. I like your choices in your order. You can change the Trelis if you don't like it while on your travels when you get home. Life is Good beautiful soul. Thanks for sharing.
I agree with you, I like the wire trellis, it would let light come through freely, it would look good from both sides. Another great video. You are almost ready to hit the road again. Yay!!
I vote for the white washed grey picture. It's not a solid wall which I think would be too closed in. It allows light through yet gives a sense of a separate sleeping area. So Mt second vote is the trellis.
Trellis! Trellis!! Trellis!!! Its all coming together so beautifully! The trellis is light and airy. (And see through) NOT too many fabrics because they go well together! 🎉 Love it!
Metal trellis is my first choice if it is sturdy enough not to bend when in use. The grey picture thing could be painted on both sides and would work too.
The van build is looking great! I love the scrolled look of your wood piece. I think you said it was the wood frame of a mirror. I believe it makes an elegant statement plus, allows light to get through. Whitewashing it would look so lovely as you suggested. Can't wait to see what you select!
I.M.O….for your headboard…use the beauty metal trellis that you purchased. It will give you support, but also allow see thru. Light blocking could effect your whole build. You could hang from your trellis on the kitchen side. It will be there, but be very open and airy.
Omgosh Lu Lu- I genuinely LOVE love love All three choices, but - the first two would garner 💯 % support, where as, you may not have so much w the trellise..? And Bob COULD just put a thin backing onto the backside of the grey frame, in order to add your Spice rack , if you are willing to “give up” that space. I can’t WAIT to go on our first trip, 🎉!
I prefer the trellis headboard for its airyness. And hang one of your dragonflies on it. They're lovely!!! I'm impressed with your garden. I hope God takes good care of it and blesses you with a great amount of veggies on your return. Take care and keep us updated! Luv ya!
I think the pallet headboard would be most supportive, would tie in the pallet look from the other side and you could hang a little shelf up high. On the kitchen side of the headboard you could use the wall space for another shelf or something. I'm afraid the trellis would eventually deform even as tiny as you are. ❤️
Lu... hate to say it but I agree with karen! The trellis airy but not supportive enough for body weight over the long haul. Also, what if you started feeling that wire/metal trellis thru your pillows ......... ala the Princess and the Pea story. One of my favorites. Will be interested to hear what Bob has to say. Was that great purple top a thrift store find? I'm figuring lunch and dinner were as good as they looked.
Lulu! Use the trellis! I am concerned the solid choices will make the van look too closed in. It might give u claustrophobia. U did not want anything too close to your head. The solid headboards will feel like that. Use the trellis!
For the bed frame remove the bad screw and use some wood glue with some claps til it drys. Re-screw in different hole. Otherwise it will keep splitting. Add bracket after that for added safety. Lookin good! Cant wait to see how you organize and pack! YAY!
I like the light airiness of the trellis, but wonder if it is sturdy enough for leaning against. My vote goes to the custom built pallet headboard with a curved top, some cut outs to allow light and air, and room to hang things on the kitchen side.
I like the trellis for now. I know whatever you choose is going to be great. I like the cover for the refrig. instead of a bed skirt....I just think the bed frame is too pretty to cover up (color). You can always cover anything under the bed with that same material IF one cover isn't enough...time will tell! I love the compass in that spot & all the other decals have great homes. Everything else you have done looks so good!!!!! It looks so light & bright in there it is just so beautiful! Yes, there are lots of patterns, but for some reason they look good together in my opinion. I just love that repainted pic. you have of the people dancing that you put on the med. cabinet! love it You are a go getter!!! Like I said, when you say you're going to do something, you do it, not just let it go for weeks (I love that)!
I think using the gray as a head board is great. I especially like the fact that you can see through it. I think it will make it not feel so claustrophobic.
Hi Lulu, I think the trellis is a nice solution. You could wind a strand of fairy lights on it. My 2nd choice is the gray frame. You could paint the side facing the kitchen area so that it matches your greenery. I'm looking forward to what you decide! Have a wonderful week.🍀
Idea 💡 White wash boards cut in the outline of the trellis, the attach the trellis to it painted your choice of color or left black. That way, pillow wouldn’t fall through and you have a “wall” in you kitchen area for attaching anything you like. AND it will be strong enough to lean back on.
I vote for the gray picture for the headboard and like a comment above said add pallet wood to the back and white wash it. That would look amazing and be sturdy. The trellis I don’t think will hold up leaning against it repeatedly
I think the trellis would be great. If your pillow wants to slip through, you could always rest the kneeling pads against it first. It would work for the few times you will be there long term.
Lulu...when you started your channel did you ever imagine you would make such an impact on people and make so many new friends? Does it ever feel surreal? Can't wait to go on the next adventure with you.
I vote for the wooden scroll headboard. Put the right side facing the kitchen area of the van. Make a piece of masonite to fit in the frame. Glue a piece of foam to the masonite. Cover it with quilt batting. Cover this with decorative fabric and fit into the frame. Now you have a head board, padded on one side and decorative on the other side.
Headboard vote: Trellis because it is open and airy plus it won’t block the view of your beautiful kitchen area and close it off! Everything looks wonderful.
I like 1 and 2 for the headboard. Maybe on the back side of #2 you can paint or find fabric the same color blue as your selves and white wash the front😊
Metal or grey piece for the headboard. You could try chopping it off bc that’ll be easy enough, then check if it’ll be too flimsy. If that doesn’t work then you know that’s out. I’d imagine you’d just use bolt cutters or the like to chop it smaller? It’s looking great!
I think the trellis will bend too easily. I like the gray picture thing with a white wash. You could still screw in eye hooks on the kitchen side to hang things up. I think the pallet wood idea is fabulous but if you are tired of making so many decisions, don’t go with this one.
The pallet headboard will block air flow....the trellis will allow air flow. The picture frame is nice but again very bulky looking. I choose the trellis but of course it is your choice♥add matching greenry to top of trellis, it also matches the vine look across from it!!!!
I love the idea of the gray wall hanging. Maybe fill in the plain backside of it with pallet planks and whitewash the whole thing. Bob could maybe make a small box to hang on the backside or attach a magnetic strip for spices or knives
Definitely the trellis Lulu you can see through it and it looks great 💜
I like the trellis. Plus, at bedtime, you could hang a removable drink holder on it, and maybe a holder for your eyeglasses.
I love the trellis; It does the job as a headboard while visually keeping the space open.
I think the metal trellis would be best. It's open and airy and adds to the van without blocking the view. Also, you could put fairy lights on it or a reading light, or your fan.
I agree!
I have been wanting to write the same thing… the trellis can be cut to be the exact height needed, would still be open enough not to be a “confining” space.
I agree. The trellis xx
I like the trellis, too. You could even hang things on the loops when not sleeping.
I like the trellis too!!!
I still love your headboard idea! Looks nice because it’s open an airy!
The trellis for sure ❤
#2-Headboard gray
Gives light through it and firm support.
I would be concerned that there wouldn't be enough support and your pillow will push through hole of trellis 😊😊😊
thanks for your input, appreciate it! 😊
That's exactly my thoughts regarding the trellis.
White wash pallet spice rack oven mitts cooking utensil hangers etc
I love the trellis it will keep the area open.
I like the openness of the cast iron.
Beautiful build. I like the trellis it's light and airy for your back board.
I love number 1. It would remind me of a rod iron bed. A very elegant touch. 😊❤
You could also spray. Paint the trellis silver
I think #1 for the bed backboard, will look great from bothside ❤
I like the pallet idea
Lulu, I like number one for your headboard and number two is my second choice. For me I find the decor not too busy.👏👏👏❣️❣️❣️
This is a tough decision but I agrée with the metal trellis. Light and airy and purposeful. Your build is beautiful and playful. A reflection of you.
Love the metal trellis. It will look awesome, open and airy inside the van. 😀
The trilles will keep you the coolest during warmer months.
Great video Lulu . Covers a lot of your interesting work you did on your van and garden. Big big 👍👍up. Love that big sigh at the end. ❤
I like the wire trellis because it's more open but try it first because it might be uncomfortable. Choice 2 is the pretty decorative mirror frame
The Van looks awesome, I love the umbrella perfect place.
I love the trellis best
Great video. I’m here for the whole enchilada; van life, gardening, thrifting, little camper, camping, and whatever is next.😊
GREAT!! happy that you are here! 😊
Same!
My choice is the trellis. I love it and it would continue the open feel that is so important in your tiny space.
Great vid, I like the trellis as the headboard, its lightweight and let's light shine thru. Gorgeous salad ! OMG ! 🌺🌼🌺🌼🌺🌼🌺🌼🌺🌼
the flowers in the salad are just so beautiful, huh? I LOVE IT!!
I agree with you LuLu....the trellis is the best option!
Lulu another suggestion (😊)... a backrest or
wedge pillow to make lounging/sitting up on the bed a little more comfortable on the posture. Could be used against the headboard/side door etc. for sitting in different areas of the bed. A child sized one probably wouldn't take up too much space to store when needed. Everything is coming along so nicely, the colors, the patterns look great. I agree with you, I like the wire trellis, it would let light come through freely, it would look good from both sides. Another great video. You are almost ready to hit the road again. Yay!!
YAY!! pretty soon!! 😊
Yeah, place for everything & everything in it's place.
I agree with your choice of headboards in the same order as you. 😊😊😊
🎉 Love it!
I like your 2nd choice. White or green, white keeps it bright. 💯 😊.
#2. #2. #2. The decorative wall hanging whitewashed…gorgeous! WEAVE IN TWINKLE LIGHTS TOO❤️❤️
Gray one, #2. Gorgeous, allows light in, and will be more comfy than the trellis. Can be painted any color!
I’m watching 17 hours after you posted this. The headboard I like the same order you said you liked. It is coming together so nicely.
Looks fantastic and fun. Love it.
I vote for the trellis.
I agree with your order of preference! Love the first two!
The black garden piece would look amazing
I.M.O….for your headboard…use the beauty metal trellis that you purchased. It will give you support, but also allow see thru. Light blocking could effect your whole build. You could hang from your trellis on the kitchen side. It will be there, but be very open and airy.
Trellis is my first choice. The grey picture thing next. The wall idea would totally block your view and I think it would feel more closed it.
Number 1 for sure.
Omgosh Lu Lu- I genuinely LOVE love love All three choices, but - the first two would garner 💯 % support, where as, you may not have so much w the trellise..? PS I SUPER Love the silver boxes against the blue “CD” case cabinets 💯❣️
thanks Marsha!! yes, I love the silver boxes too, it worked out perfectly!! 😊
I prefer the trellis headboard for its airyness. And hang one of your dragonflies on it. They're lovely!!! I'm impressed with your garden. I hope God takes good care of it and blesses you with a great amount of veggies on your return. Take care and keep us updated! Luv ya!
The pallet board sounds amazing
Trellis!👏🏻👏🏻🙏
Definitely the trellis. It is so pretty. I would not do the pallet headboard because you need full air flow in the van.
I think the pallet headboard would be most supportive, would tie in the pallet look from the other side and you could hang a little shelf up high. On the kitchen side of the headboard you could use the wall space for another shelf or something. I'm afraid the trellis would eventually deform even as tiny as you are. ❤️

hello Maria!! yes, lunch and dinner were thoroughly delish!!! and yes, the purple top was a thrift store find, a few years ago!! you know me!!!
❤Love Your Garden, can't wait to see it in Full Bloom!❤ Awesome 👍🤩🌄🤞✌️👌🙌🙏🇺🇸
🤞
Lulu! Use the trellis! I am concerned the solid choices will make the van look too closed in. It might give u claustrophobia. U did not want anything too close to your head. The solid headboards will feel like that. Use the trellis!

Exactly!
it's not a screw, it's a roofing nail!! next to impossible to yank that out!! I'll figure that out soon!!
I think the metal trellis is best idea it’s open & airy and would be great if you added fairy lights. Love what you did with the rest of your van !!
I like the light airiness of the trellis, but wonder if it is sturdy enough for leaning against. My vote goes to the custom built pallet headboard with a curved top, some cut outs to allow light and air, and room to hang things on the kitchen side.
Number 1 for your bedhead !!
I like the trellis for now. I know whatever you choose is going to be great. I like the cover for the refrig. instead of a bed skirt....I just think the bed frame is too pretty to cover up (color). hello Judie, thanks for your note and for your suggestions!! Lulu 💕
What a great idea to cover your cooler under the bed with that beautiful print…..it looks great!
hi Joy!! I got the idea from someone here in the comments!! so grateful!! I like it so much better than a bed skirt!! YAY!!! 😊
Gray wall hanging is my choice for the headboard. Beautiful design and sturdy.
Oh yes the trellis is what I would go with.
Trellis would be my choice 🙂
Trellis for the win 👍🏻
My vote for your headboard is the trellis. Practical, non intrusive and lightweight!! Good luck.😊
I like your choice for headboard... :)
Lulu I like the metal pic for your back board and your Van looks great
I think using the gray as a head board is great. I especially like the fact that you can see through it. I think it will make it not feel so claustrophobic.
I like the trellis painted white.
I like the TRELLIS as a headboard!
I love the trellis!
You're amazing. Safe travels.
Love the trellis!
Idea 💡 White wash boards cut in the outline of the trellis, the attach the trellis to it painted your choice of color or left black. That way, pillow wouldn’t fall through and you have a “wall” in you kitchen area for attaching anything you like. AND it will be strong enough to lean back on.
This is such a creative option! 👍
2nd idea for headboard
The trellis is the best so you can see through it! Love you and your channel Lulu😅
thanks Dot! I'm so happy you enjoy my channel, thanks for letting me know that!! I'm glad you are here! Lulu 😊
The u shaped nail is a fencing nail. :) You're almost there Lulu.
Nice to have the open trellis for visual space in a tiny area. lovely garden
My mom was an interior decorator and she would use different pattern fabrics in the same room, and it always looked good.
I like the umbrella….
Pallet headboard is my favorite! I love everything! ❤
I vote for the gray picture for the headboard and like a comment above said add pallet wood to the back and white wash it. That would look amazing and be sturdy. The trellis I don’t think will hold up leaning against it repeatedly
I vote for the metal arch myself... The whole thing is very whimsical and cute!
Can't wait to go on the next adventure with you.
thanks so much Linda, for such a sweet note! I had no idea, yes it feels surreal. I'm so grateful that I'm enjoying this!! 😊
I like the trellis! Beautiful, cherry, happy space filled with a happy aura…….sunny Lulu!
hello Gail!!! thanks so much for such a cheery happy note!!! I enjoyed that!! Lulu 😊
It looks really great.
I like 1 and 2 for the headboard. Maybe on the back side of #2 you can paint or find fabric the same color blue as your selves and white wash the front😊

It’s looking great!
I like the idea of using the pallet for your headboard the best. It would match the other pallet you have in your van.
A decorative cast iron pot trivet would be ideal for your cabinet. 😊
Love your joy, you make me smile. ❤
I think the trellis will bend too easily. I like the gray picture thing with a white wash. You could still screw in eye hooks on the kitchen side to hang things up. I think the pallet wood idea is fabulous but if you are tired of making so many decisions, don’t go with this one.
hey Barbara!! I probably should have mentioned that I couldn't bend that trellis if I tried. it's rock solid!! still deciding!! lol
@@LulusWay64 Could put your router to work on the back of the picture thing.
First idea for headboard
I like option 2 for the headboard and you can paint the back of it gold
I love the trellis!!
I like your second choice and white washing it! It’s airy and charming
The pallet headboard will block air flow....the trellis will allow air flow. The picture frame is nice but again very bulky looking. I choose the trellis but of course it is your choice♥add matching greenry to top of trellis, it also matches the vine look across from it!!!!
