    i was diagnosed with complete radial tear (meniscus) and got into surgery 1 week ago. Now i can lift my right feet and also can bend it around 60 degrees manually, and 85 degrees with cpm. but the hardest thing is to keep the back on my knee at 0 degrees🥲 grateful enough because i think i recover so fast while most people cant even bend their knee even after 1 week. but thankyou for the tutorial, i hope this will help my recovery journey. My target is to walk normally a month after the surgery, don’t know if it’s even possible but let’s try it hahahahah

    I have done medial meniscus repaire, it's exactly 2nd week now and I'm not able to bend my knee for more than 45 degree while sitting only ! If laid on a bed I can barely bend 15 -20 degree !

      Hell yeah. I’m in the process right now. I started with light cardio (walking) a few weeks after surgery. Started legs again, really light a few weeks after I started the cardio. Slowly but surely you’ll get back.

    Is it normal to have swelling months after surgery?

    • @sportrehabguide

      Depends what type of swelling and many other factors. Always best to consult your surgeon or a professional in a healthcare setting

    Tore my meniscus and I’m currently a couple weeks into the flexibility stage of my rehab. I was wondering if at any point and when would ankle weights be a benefit? A slight resistance when walking to increase muscles again to head towards pre surgery.

    Is running on treadmill good for recovery meniscus tear

    • @sportrehabguide
      @sportrehabguide  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not as an early stage exercise! It’s too high of an impact activity if a meniscus injury is still too painful/not ready

      Noisy knees are perfectly normal. Patients usually would seek specialist opinion for continued pain/life/giving way/locking/anything that knee does to affect everyday life

      Çok geçmiş olsun bende bir yıl oldu ameliyat olalı ama dizlerim hâlâ çok ağrı yapıyor, mr sonucunda tekrar yırtık çıktı, bu defa ameliyat olmaktan çok korkuyorum, en iyisi diz çevresi kasları güçlendirmek ve mecbur kalmadıkça ameliyat olmamak, ben çok pişman oldum 😢 Allah şifa versin hepimize kardeşim 🤲🤲🤲

    • @sportrehabguide
      @sportrehabguide  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tough to give any advice on personal circumstances. Always best to get it a full assessment so rehab can be pitched at your level. Main goal would be to get that knee straight (if possible) in the early stages with all patients
