Things even seasoned Mormons aren't told: Joseph Smith had from 30 to 40 wives in a state that had outlawed polygamy. Joseph Smith was in prison because he had ordered a newspaper burned because his previous first counselor outed Joseph Smith as a polygamist in the first edition of that newspaper. All the Church Apostles are creationists and believe in a literal Adam and Eve. No supporting archeological evidence, linguistic evidence, or genetic evidence exists that supports the Book of Mormon. Read the Wikipedia article on the Book of Abraham. It details the outright fraud that was put in Mormon scripture.

All of what you said doesn't matter,The church has volumes of apologetics to keep believing. There's an answer for everything. It might not be a good answer but it's an answer.

@@Mikelray-df9my Does anyone have an explanation for why Joseph Smith had 30 to 40 wives? I haven't even heard anyone explain what the religious purpose was for him to be sealed to so many women or heard of the practice outside of Warren Jeffs and Joseph Smith. Faith without works is dead. Do the work, don't believe blindly. It is OK to question the truth and the history.

@@mariamilagrosaguayo-bishop1626 Do you really think I have not tried to read, meditate, go to the temple, pray, and ponder? No, it is through this that I have begun to reason for myself. Do you honestly believe that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon by looking at a rock in hat, which oddly enough, no one else can duplicate? Pray, but also reason for yourself, and then you will find the truth.
