    It was a delight to meet Chief Midegah (David Taylor-Barker) who was given a time-slot for a brief introduction. Today (Sat.) is his main talk in the afternoon. We are grateful for the walking Encyclopedia he is about his people, the Ojibway (among many other main tribes). Please keep comments positive and uplifting, as he is. His mission is to unify in kindness. ツ By the GRACE of GOD go there all of us, right?

    All that resist the ONE LIGHT do condemn themselves to the Divisions of Darkness. The Sun of Righteousness covers the earth. Gather as One Mind united in all that is good from the Beginning. The LIGHT lifts up the Jewels by visitation. Written signs and wonders follow the faithful and this with witnesses many. A
    LIGHT has broken forth;
    amongst those many that sit in darkness, that ALL (who will) might come unto a place of refuge and be raised up as calves gathered together in the stall.

    There will always be detractors. Whenever something good and wonderful is about to happen, the opposer and accuser wants to bring it down.
    I am praying for this little band of brothers & sisters in the true gospel of Jesus Christ; some of Ephraim, some of Mannasseh. I hope that doors are opened & new friendships forged that can help those who need to be lifted out of poverty and that the voices from the dust may be able to speak.

      I cannot express how humbling it is to be a witness in this day and age of how great God is, in preparing each of us who can have eyes to see and ears to hear.
      Thank you for expressing your knowingness. And yes, you are right about detractors, and those among us who are some of the worst persecutors. It's very sad to also witness. 😪

      And think about it: Who was it that "set the table" for Joseph of Egypt to bring the whole family back together? The Lord made miracles, and HIS sons are both Ephraim and Mannasseh, together.

      Detractors? Any time anyone disagrees with a Mormon, they point to it as if it’s evidence that they have the “truth” because it’s being “attacked.” No, Jesus is the truth, the way, and the life. There are disagreements all over the world regarding religion, and those disagreements don’t mean a damn thing in terms of who is right and who is wrong. Focus on Jesus, believe in the gospel in1 Corinthians 15:1-4, and stop putting so much emphasis on mortal men. The Bible is God’s Holy Word, living and breathing, able to answer all questions and is not bound by time or space. It’s easy for TBM to get caught up and who led away down strange paths when they hear that someone has more ‘scripture.’ Don’t be fooled, there is only one gospel that saves, and for you and me it is the one solely based on the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus.

    The Lamenite is to build the Temple in Missouri. I believe we sre seeing the stirring of thesecwonderful people. We who claim to be of Ephraim and the other tribes sre being found. And their being led here. I think we srecstanding in a very rxciting moment of time.

      There is a wonderful story I have about the "stones" on the New Jerusalem Temple Site, that were left there over centuries. Joseph Smith found out they were left by Native Americans, who knew that was the spot for a sacred building of God's Temple. You can find that story (after knowing about it, I found it here): Wayne May's Magazine, The Promised Land. ツ

    What am I missing? Why is drawing such criticism? I sat next to a gentlemn that made derogatory comments under his breath theoughout his presentation. There are definitely rumblings going on, but im not sure where all this is leading.

      When judgment precedes understanding, casting any stones seems pretty pre-mature (?). Go to Zion Media and listen to his recent recounting of his life story.
      Anyone who has been through significant and real trauma gets to embrace a healing path, unless they sink drowning in the grief, PTSD, trauma, bitterness, betrayal etc.

    I am a real Ojibwe and I want the world to know this is not part of our culture .

    • @ComeFollowMeLatterDayMedia
      @ComeFollowMeLatterDayMedia  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Which part of "this" do you mean? The song he shared, the language, histories shared? There are many names for God, many traditions too, but truth is truth, light is self-evident and shared among us (don't we all experience sunlight, air, wind, water, and the earth in universal ways, as well as individual ones)? I think that is more what Midegah was getting at...unity, and coming together.

      @@ComeFollowMeLatterDayMedia I understand he studied The Ojibwe in college , and some of his stories are real and some of his words are ours , but what I am talking about is him begging for money for some cause that has nothing to do with our culture is not what we do . How I found out about this whole scam is someone was congratulating me , that I will soon have the money and not have to suffer anymore , and I didn't have any idea what that meant . I have money and I am quite comfortable . If any Ojibwe are poor it is because they are not trying . There is no shortage of work even if you have to travel to get a job . The man that is speaking like one of us does not represent us . Maybe he has convinced a couple people about some far fetched idea but that only proves there are gullible people in the world . I have already started reaching out to other tribal members and we will get to the bottom of this .
